F has been wearing his 3-6 month stuff for a couple of weeks now. Howe is 13 weeks today and they fit him but I wouldn't say there is much room for growth particularly length ways but when he grows out of them will 6-9 stuff not be too wide? What size clothes are those of you with big babies wearing at what age?

H&M tends to fit well with longer babies, particularly their vests. Tu at Sainsburys seem to be a bit more generous on the sizings too. HTH x

I found sainsburys good and primark. just bought a bigger size than I needed. She's 2.5 now and she's already in some 3-4 stuff x

J outgrew 0-3 month at 2 weeks, and 3-6 months at 6 weeks. He needed a bigger size, so I bought a bigger size.
At 10 months, he was wearing 2-3 yr poppered vests.
Now at 26 months, he has size 8 feet, and wears mostly 3-4 yr clothes, with some 4-5.
We had most luck with TU, and primark. Primark especially as he was growing out of stuff so quickly.

AK - Blimey at J! He's going to be lovely and tall :)
I have also found Tu more generous, and next and mothercare as well.

See I found the primark sizes came up small so he was 2 sizes up in those at points. Next tends to come up bigger, or just buy a size up in any shop. At that age I don't think the width changes much and as he got older I had the opposite problem that they were long enough but not wide enough. He split so many trousers when he started to sit

LambyAK - Blimey at J! He's going to be lovely and tall :)
I know. Don't know why though. I'm 5ft 6", and H is 6ft', so neither of us are especially tall. He costs a fortune in clothes, and food. He has a monster appetite to go with his monster size
Forgot Asda. I found their stuff can come up bigger.

I was going to suggest Asda, especially for the early months

AK - J and S were the same size at birth so will be interesting to see how long before he's in big boy clothes! Think S was 7 weeks when we moved to 3-6 though, however some stuff still fitted, but he is now tubby as well as tall!

We found next a snug fit rather than generous. Sainsburys are good as others have said and m&s is good for size and length we found.
H was 8lb 14oz at birth and is q long but he's still in 3-6 months at almost 7 months and even in some 0-3 tshirts etc so I feel for you guys who are moving up sizes so quickly!

The differences in size between the shops is as bad as women's clothes. Tesco's are tiny, he barely fitted into them at birth.
I don't mind buying clothes for him, in fact it gives me a perfect excuse, just wondering how the bigger sizes fitted. Will have a look in H&M but my local Sainsbury's selection is rubbish.
Think F was the same weight as S Lamby. I remember as they were around the same time? How's he getting on?
