I reckon I'm about 9 weeks pregnant but un sure,I have recently had a slight bleed while pregnant, the next day it got a bit heavier so went to the hospital I had blood tests which was normal showing I'm pregnant, I then had an internal exam to see if the doc could see where the blood was coming from and my cervix was closed, I then had a scan and could only see the sack and nothing else :/, I am going for more blood test in 2 days and another scan in a week or so the doctor has prepared us for a miscarriage, we was heartbroken we really hope this isn't the case and that when we go back we get the news we hope for... Has anyone else experienced anything like this or got any advise?

so sorry to hear you are going through this... I know what a scary & upsetting time it can be.
There are 2 things which may be happening... The one which i really hope for you is that your dates are off & that you are not as far along as you thought... Which is why the docs couldn't see a baby yet.... Everything could be fine.. Just a little eRlier than you thought.
the other thing that could be happening (i'm so sorry to say) is that you could have had a missed miscarriage. This is where the baby dies earlier on but your body doesn't recognise that & so you do not bleed heavily / pass the baby. This is what happened to me with my first baby, I had some light spotting at 9 weeks, went for a scan & found that the baby had died around 6 weeks.
The blood tests you are having done will confirm what is happening. These are quantitative hcg tests that measure the exact amount of hcg (pregnancy hormone) in your blood. The tests are done 2 days apart to compare the hcg levels. If they go down then this confirms a miscarriage, if they go up then there is hope!.
please let us know how you get on & if you need to talk we are here for you x
