I'm hoping to order a connecta soon and can't decIDE between a normal one or a solarweave. i think we're going to use it a lot when we go on holiday in August. Any advice ladies?

I've got a normal one and it's been fine for use in all seasons in this country - it has a cord lining and Jacob has never felt too hot in it. If you are going abroad then the Solarweave might be better though.

Solarweave as it'll protect from UV

I have the solar weave, was good for in the sun as stopped b getting too hot as its quite thin

I have a solarweave as we have hot summers but I've only used it indoors so far and have not seen a cord one in the flesh so can't compare.

I've had both and stuck with the normal one in the end. I found the solar weave is so thin that the material sort of dug into his legs especially if he was in shorts in the summer, also didn't feel as supportive. No sun is likely to get through the thick material of the connecta. S never got especially hot in it even in the hot summer

I have ordered a solarweave, mainly because that was my justification for getting one given I already have a Beco Butterfly and Babyhawk. If there had been a regular one in a pattern that I loved I would probably have been swayed by that though.
