I find tummy massage works well for my little man... Along with bicycle legs...

How do you know baby is constipated? Also, how old is your LO? Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question.

I was told tummy massage and lots of orange juice if you are breast feeding. They don't actually class it as constipation unless it's been 9 days... Ouch!

I was told 4 days for constipation...gotta live the variations in the nhs!
I did all the bits already mentioned. In the end as O was a colicy baby too and ff we switched to aptamil comfort milk and he improved massively. Obce the colic eased we switched back to aptamil first milk and it was fine again x

I'm the same as coco. E is very uncomfortable after 2 days of no poop and doesn't sleep unless she's had a daily poo.
Cycling legs, tummy circles, bit of water all tried and failed here so we pulled out the lactoulose for my screaming baby. Hv advised 1tspn of fresh OJ to 8 of water but it wasn't advice I took. Eventually we also switched onto aptimal comfort and that's made a huge difference. We've not had much of an issue since then, until the weaning began.
