Does your baby keep whacking the sides? I remember N doing this in his Moses a few times so I moved him into his cot bed at 8 weeks where he settled better as he had so much space. I can't do that this time as we only have room for the crib in our bedroom. Do babies just get used to it? Are we allowed to put cot bumpers on now?

B is 15 weeks and had just started to get into all sorts of awkward positions in his crib. When he was smaller bed stick his arms through the bars. I've put the breathable bumpers on, their called airwrap bumpers and it stops him getting his arm stuck. I think they do get used to the space, but I'm thinking of moving B into a travel cot to see if he'll sleep better!

I've not heard of air wrap bumpers, will have to google. I didn't think of a travel cot, I suppose that's an option if the crib doesn't work out.

E keeps doing this atm, twice in a one night she proper bumped her head.
Bumpers are allowed now AFAIK under SIDs, or I think they say there is no reason to think they increase the SiDs risk if that makes sense? However a fellow MD had seen these:
