This is TTC talk really but given most ladies are TTC #1 over on the TTC forum at the moment i thought this was a better place to discuss. Did your cycle patterns, AF symtpoms, AF itself an ovulation symptoms/patterns etc all change after you'd had your first? And again after another??
Just out of interest really. P is 16 months. AF took 6 months to come back as i was BFing, then had 2 AFs and went back on pill for 6 months. Am now off, cycles settled and just starting TTC #2. I've noticed lots of things are different post baby though. AFs are shorter and less painful. But i now get sore boobs pre AF which i never had in the 15 odd years of AFs pre baby. I also get really sore boobs around ov-ing too which i didn't get when TTC P.
It's fascinating really how things can change and wondered what others had found.

I was so much more aware of ovulation than I was pre baby no1. I am not sure whether I was better informed about spotting the signs but it just seemed so much more obvious.

I developed quite painful ovulation after having number 1. Made ttc number 2 a bit simpler!

I now get ov pains every month. Never got them pre-the beans. Its most odd, now that I don't ever need a sign of ov'ing!!!

Funny isn't it?! I used to get very sharp and obvious ov pains and now i seem to get rumblings over a few days. Much less helpful!

My periods were the same length (6-7 days) but a bit lighter. I was a lot more regular, bar the odd rogue cycle post baby than I was before.
I could never tell if I was ov'ing before and couldn't after either.

My cycles have almost doubled! And I get ov pains too. Last af was 28 days but all others have been around 40 days (I'm hoping this means they might shorten again now). I've been using the tracker app since first af and I'm not on birth control. It's interesting that things change so much!

I'm hoping I get nice regular cycles now that I'm stopping BFing. Oh and the occasional ovulation would be nice too!
