I'm going a bit doolally. I'm currently about 5 and a half weeks, got my early scan next Friday to check things are ok.
I'm on cyclogest and aspirin for recurrent mc, I'm just terrified I will have a MMC because the progesterone will stop any bleeding.
Please someone reassure me.

Hey Rod, I credit my successful pregnancy to Cyclogest so I wanted to reply in the hope that might be reassuring :)
I'd never had a MMC, just never made it past 6 weeks, but remember having the same fear that the progesterone would prolong things if the worst happened.
Are you able to have any extra monitoring? I had twice weekly blood tests until I was 8 weeks at which point I had my first scan. It really helped me get through the day to day as I was never to far from the next milestone. It's such a tough time so massive hugs to you, I'll keep you in my thoughts. I've talked to quite a few women who have been on the protocol you've described (I didn't take aspirin) and it's been amazing for them.
Do find me on FB if you think I can help or want to talk X

Thank you so much Stripey. I know I need to just chill out and see how things pan out but its hard!
I haven't been offered extra monitoring now, but I have been tracking how dark tests go etc. Got 3+ on the digital last night so that's the last milestone before scan next Friday.
I just keep panicking, loss of symptoms etc, for example, my boobs randomly stopped hurting last night. They ached again this morning but now are still just ok. A bit achey if I poke them but not like they were.
Argh I just wish I wasn't over analysing everything :(
My first pregnancy was blighted ovum and my second 2 were losses at 5/6 weeks and 4/5 weeks. I feel like I am getting past that point now, so why cant I relax? x

It's so hard! And to be honest I don't think I ever relaxed throughout the pregnancy. I'd always think 'once xyz' I'll feel better, but there was always something to be nervous about. I know everyone says to take each day as it comes and it really is good advice. Try not to focus on symptoms too much especially as they can fluctuate in the early days. If the numbers have gone up on the digi, then that's really positive :)
Do you have a supportive GP? Or can you get in touch with a MW? Often they can request bloods to monitor hcg, there would be no harm in asking if you think it could help. In the meantime you just need to try and relax and distract yourself as much as you can - easier said than done of course!
Huge hugs, my heart goes out to you as I remember how difficult the early weeks are especially X

Yeah my GP is great, I just don't know if I am physically able to go for tests really, with work and stuff. I have my scan next week and once that's done we will know for sure.
Defo starting to feel sicker now...stupid symptoms haha x

I have 3 success stories due to cyclogest. I have not miscarried since being put on cyclogest.
I was scanned every 2 weeks from 6 weeks.
I know what you mean about being worried about a MMC. I'm afraid I felt like that throughout.

Aside from the fact that the fear will not go away that's very reassuring, thank you!!

i ended up seeing pregnancy as a means to an end. A very nice end I should add. i had the added risk of my first being premature and dealing with that.
I set myself mini hurdles/ milestones. To get to 8/12/16/24 weeks etc It helped me get through the pregnancy x

That's the plan now Section. The past 2 weeks its been getting to 3+ on a CBD. That's done now. The next is my scan next week, then I go on holiday which is a lovely distraction! Then I will be nearly 9 weeks when we get back, so will be having another scan at 10. Then 12 weeks. Then 16. Then 20 and so on.

Both of mine were cyclogest and baby aspirin babies. I can remember thinking the same with my 1st successful pregnancy. The early scan is grest reassurance. Sticky vibes! X

I was really hoping that someone could help me. The Cyclogest which I have says use vaginally, but the doctor has said use rectally.
I don't like the idea of using it vaginally, does anyone know of any applicators ?
How have people here tended to use Cyclogest ?
