H is exclusively breatstfed and so far we have managed ok. But I still find it painful / uncomfortable quite a lot if the time. Sometimes it makes my toes curl so to speak.
anyone else had this? Any suggestions to help?!??

I had toe curling pain in the early days but P is now 2.5 weeks and i only occasionally get mild pain. I would say at 14 weeks thats definitely not quite right. Can you call a health visitor or breadtfeeding counsellor to check the latch/position? Has LO been checked for tongue tie? X

Is it just when you latch her on or for the whole feed? Is it nipple pain or like daggers in your boobs?
Do different positions help?

It varies, can be just on the latch or can start midway through the feed. It can also be painful after I've fed - like an hour or so after.
It's stabbing type pains - goes through the whole boob and into the nipple. Nipple looks normal though and not red or chapped

I had stabbing pains in my boobs during and after feeds. Like fingers of pain? If its that, then in my case it was deep breast thrush. We had no other symptoms apart from my nipple was slightly darker pink (not red). Had no white spots, and A didn't have it in his mouth. We got antibiotics, cream for my nipples, and stuff for A's mouth from the GP

I would suggest a trip to the GP, could possibly be thrush if its pain within the boob too. May just be let down pain but best to get it checked.
Antibiotics would sort thrush if that's what it is.

I was going to suggest thrush too - i had to it when no 1 was about 6 weeks. Go to GP.
The breastfeeding network have a great leflet on it.
