As the title really. Normally I wash everything after one wear but I'm wondering if this is really necessary if it's not dirty ie from sick/milk etc
jurt wondered what everyone else did as the norm?

Nope, only wash when dirty. Still have that rule now, now if I could just convince my 21 month old not to smear some food product down herself during the course of the day...

As a norm I'd wash everything, it'a easier for me to just chuck it in a basket, to be fair most of it would be dirty, either from him spitting a bit up or pulling off during a feed and having a milk shower. Now it's food. Only exceptions would be cardigans and hats that were only worn for a short time.

We are yet to get through a day where J has not dribbled or been sick down himself- I can sometimes manage to get away with not washing his PJs for a day but only if he is dressed straight away.

I only take Es clothes off if they are dirty, so they always get washed. For example she went into a sleep suit before bed last night after having calpol down the previous outfit, but isn't yet dirty this morning so I'll wait until her next messy feed / messy nappy / medicine feeding time etc.

Only wash when dirty here, I do enough washing without doing unnecessary loads!

i would love to only wash when dirty, but i have a very sicky, dribbley baby so it always needs washing, sometimes i can manage to get two wears out of M's clothes though!

Yes wash everything when it's taken off.

I have 3 young children so with the stupid amount of washing I have, I only wash the kid's clothes if they are dirty. With my 19 month old that's pretty much a new outfit for each day anyway because she's so messy.

J wears his trousers for 2 days if they aren't dirty and PJ's last a week if not dirty. B's clothes are fresh on each morning and washed after use

Yes because B is sick down the front of everything so fresh set of clothes everyday

A usually wears a sleepsuit and vest at night, which gets put in the wash in the morning. In the day he'll wear one outfit (unless his nappy leaks or he does a megasick down himself). I will wash anything that's been touching his skin, but things like cardigans over a long-sleeved vest can be worn again.
