    Hi ladies

Just wondered if i could ask for some advice/your opinions?

I am 7+4 today, have been pregnant before but this sadly ended in m/c. The sac stopped growing at 6 weeks but i didnt m/c until 9 weeks.

My query is that although i have had symptoms, i havent felt hardly any cramping/stretching pains in my abdomen. I did quite early on, around when i got a + on a hpt but since then i have only had very very light and occassional pains.

My concern is that it hasnt grown like last time. Any advice or personal experiences would be great

    Hope you`re all well

    Katy xx

    Hi Katy

My experience was the same, I got tonnes of cramps, pulls, pains and stretches at the very early stages (5-6 weeks ish) and then they sort of stopped. They picked up again last week (10 weeks ish) and are only just easing off again.

Hopefully its all normal, but I would ring your MW if you're worried.

Hi honey, congrats on your pregnancy! I can understand why you're worrying, i've had 2 healthy pregnancies since my m/c but i still panic at every little thing.
I had some crampy niggly pains at around 4 weeks, and then nothing til a couple of days ago when i started getting the same thing.
I asked my consultant about it when i saw him yesterday, he said that the pains are to do with implantation, and lots of women feel it at 4, 8 and 16 weeks as these are the times when the baby is "burrowing in" if you like! He said its totally normal to feel it, but its also just as normal to not feel anything at all. It just varies from person to person.
If you're not having any bleeding then i'd say you are probably fine. But do discuss your concerns with your doctor. Given your past history they may refer you for an earlier scan just for reassurance.
Wishing you a happy healthy 9 months xx

I've been having millions of twinges but have been assured by a midwife and my trusty pregnancy book that it is perfectly normally. Its just the ligaments all stretching for the baby.

Hope you're not too worrried. Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

    Hello all.
I am on my second pg and haven't had any cramps this time round but with my first I had tones of them. My midwife told me it was just stretching and my uteris(sp?) comming out of my pelvis.

I would say talk to your gp's or mw to put your minds at rest, but you may just find they say something simular to what mine told me.

Good luck to you all. Hope you all have happy, 'sympton' free, healthy pregnancies.
