So I have the coil, it gives me really irregular periods but they are always the same, 1 week spotting 1 week period 1 week spotting and then 4/5 days off at the most and then the cycle starts again. I've not had this now for coming up to 5 weeks which is VERY unusual, its always been the same. I did a pregnancy test coming up to 3 weeks ago and it was positive, the rest have been negative and a few days after, I went to get my bloods done at the docs, negative aswell. I feel really different like I cant explain. ive had some side effects, mainly dizziness, dopeyness, change in my nipples- more veiny and darker and VERY tired/fatigue I'm young and never had a child before, ANY ADVICE PLEASE WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL!

Have they scanned you? I would consider getting in touch with the early pregnancy unit at hospital & discussing everything with them. If you are pregnant & still have the coil fitted it could be putting you at risk

I am going through similar, have been feeling unwell for a couple of months now but because I have the coil fitted didn't think I could be pregnant, so instead I start looking at worst case scenarios :-/ I went to my Dr and told him I was worried that I may have Ovarian Cancer and he didn't mess about, got straight on to referring me for further tests.
However when.I got home I decided a would do a HPT just for piece of mind and low and behold it came up positive!! as did another one later, they were digital and clearly said 'yes' so couldn't have misread them.
Every test I have done since has come up negative! I went straight back to my Dr and he tested my urine, again negative, he also send my bloods off.
I am now waiting for an urgent appointment for a scan.to find out exactly what is going on! so basically go to your Dr and tell him how worried you are I don't know if you are aware that a positive test can be a sigh of something more sinister?
Hopefully not in both our cases, good luck to you, keep us posted xx
