What's the consensus on these? I think A would love one as she's always trying to get up onto her feet and has really strong legs. She has perfectly good head control, so that's not a worry.
My baby yoga lady says they're not great as they don't hold the right posture and it can delay their physical advances (as they're not holding themselves and using their muscles properly). I wouldn't plan on using it to encourage her to use her legs or anything, it would just be a 'toy'

I used one for G and she loved it. I wouldnt leave her in there for long periods of time but she got so much pleasure from it.

We have a freestanding bouncer and H loves it. They're not in it that long so it should be fine

I used mine when I wanted to do ironing!

We have one, I wouldn't worry about what she says as they're only in it for a while and as you say its just for fun and not development :-)

Sounds good then!
In that case, any recommendations, or are they all much of a muchness?

They certainly don't help their development, they're just for fun. We had one N, loved it. As long as they're only in it a short time they're fine.

I had one but hardly used it. it was such a faff trying to get her in and out of it on my own that i hardly bothered. might just be the type we had but the harness thing was a PITA.
she wasnt overly bothered by it either i dont think. Doubt il bother this time tbh.

I had exactly the same experience Mrs Clarke. I found it really fiddly & I was never tall enough to use it. Might use it if I were to have a taller baby!
