So I went for a routine MW appt at 31 weeks on weds and the midwife said she thought the baby was measuring small (about 28 weeks) and that she wanted to send me for a liquor volume and Doppler scan. She didnt seem too concerned and said that it might be because I am quite small myself (5ft 6 and normally size 8-10) that I might well just be carrying a small baby. Despite this and even tho I know it's silly but I did some Googling (I know!) and have managed to panic myself slightly.
I understand this is pretty common so was wondering if any of you had any experience of it you wouldn't mind sharing? Scan is on Tuesday and I am having a placental scan at the same time (booked at 20 wk scan as my placenta was low lying and they wanted to check it had moved) Sorry for slightly indulgent post - guess I will feel better after Tuesday!

I have had quite a few doppler scans in my last 2 pregnancies. They measure blood flow in the cords. Be prepared to hear a strange noise as they are doing the scan.
