    Hiya girls i just wondering wether u got ur due date from ur last period or from ur scan? Im due 12th June and thts from my scan but my mother is quite old fashioned and said stick to your period which would be the 3rd June. So what dates did u all stick to?

    Depends if you are a regular 28 day af girl then your scan date is generally similar (I am a 27 day af girl and my scan said I was 2 days out, so GP/MW stuck with the af date). If your af's are irregular/long go with scan date! As teh chart they work it out on is based on you being a 28 day girl.

    They count it from the first day of your last period and then your 12 week scan measurements should back this date up (give or take a few days. I think the scan date is the most accurate as they take this from babies measurements

    well hun with my dd i calculated from my lmp and due date was 2nd feb ...scan said 27th jan ....sophia arrived on the 2nd feb could just be coinsidence but i might have been right xxxxxx

    My LMP edd is 17th Sept, Scan date is 22nd Sept,.
    My midwife and consultant have told me that unless your scan date is more than a week out they will go with your LMP as it tends to be more accurate.
    Personally I've got my own date in mind of the 20th - don't know why!!

    Hon my mum was dated 2 weeks later by scan from LMP but she stuck by LMP and I arrived bang on the 6th July but my medical records show I was born at 37 weeks but according to my mum I was right!

    I was told to go on the due dates by my period until my scan and then i was told they have to go on the dates given by the scan after that
