This is probably really dumb, but I just wanted to check.
The crib mattress arrived today, and the postman had curled it up into his bag, it doesn’t have any definite folds but it’s not quite sitting flat yet.
Is this ok? Obviously with a spring it would be ruined but I have no idea with foam?

i believe after 12 hours it should be fine,
memory foam mattresses are delivered like this, our kingsize was rolled up to the size of a duvet. we left it to settle for 12 hours and it was perfect

Thanks. Our memory foam topper was the same, I think this is just normal foam so wasn’t sure if the same rules applied!

can you call the manufacturer just to make sure ?

We bought a foam mattress for W's crib and it had a bit of a dent in it when we got it home, but it was hung up in our wardrobe until about 3 weeks before W actually arrived and it settled again. I know W was quite a heavy boy, so i had to flip his mattress regularly because he would leave a baby shape mould in it.

I'm currently flipping Bs Moses basket mattress every few days as the little tubster leaves a baby shaped dent in it.
