Hiya, I found out yesterday that I am 4 weeks pregnant.
Last week I had a terrible pain in my back and lower abdomen and thought I was coming on with my AF, as the pain was getting worse I went to see the GP who referred me on to the gynaecologist on call at my local hospital and that's how we found out!
The pain is not stopping though and I cannot go to work because of it, I am no sleeping as I cannot find a suitable position.
I am due back at the clinic tomorrow for a check up to ensure everything is going well, however I would like to find out if anyone else has had early pregnancy-related pain and if i should worry about it?

Thanks very much in advance for any help/advice you may be able to give me.

    Mxx

I had what felt like period pains for the first few months. Not bad enough to keep me in bed/off work though. Do you normally cramp badly? I'm sure if your gynaecologist wasn't worried then you have nothing to worry about. At least they're keeping a close eye on you.

    Good luck!
