Please could you share your blw lunch ideas for when you're out band about. Ben is doing brilliantly and can cope with preloaded spoons (this is very messy) and other finger foods. I'm in a bit of rut with offering the same thing and would like to be able offer him lunch when were out rather than just a bottle

I'd just give him some of yours.
I always carried fruit - banana, tangerine, raisins. A pack of baby biscuits or Organix crisps. Rice cakes, breadsticks, that kind of thing.

I used to take pasta in a tub with fruit and veg sticks. Rice cakes etc. or just bits of what I was having.

Will he eat some of your food? I'd just give mine crusts from sandwiches or get him a cheese sandwich. Or I'd choose a pasta dish or something. It was just easier to give him some of my food. I would always carry a clementine with me, a pot of blueberries/grapes and some go- ahead bars

Oh, I meant to add, once I was not getting a decent meal as he ate so much I got him his own food. At 8/9m he once ate an entire kids starter and main at pizza express (but only the strawberries from the pudding).

Will be watching this. I usually just give a sandwich as it'snot very messy!

Thanks for the ideas ladies! Sandwiches sound like a good idea and something I hadn't thought of! I will also pack some dry things as well!
