From what I've read the 'cut-off' is up to 30mm sac size... if you don't see a fetal pole by that size then that's unlikely to end with a good outcome.
it is promising that the yolk sac is present & you are probably very early so I would not be overly concerned yet. When are you being re-scanned / having bloodwork?

Hi there sorry you are going through this uncertainty. It'd a horrible waiting game . Agree with sw2 that it is promising that there is a yolk sac visible . Hope you don't have too long to wait for a re scan. Keep us posted x

It's horrible having to wait when you're in limbo. Don't be too put off by all the bleeding - I had TONNES in early pregnancy and was so nervous but all is ok thankfully. I think since your cycles are super long and not entirely regular then there's still lots of hope. And the scans are really hard to interpret at that early stage. They said I was 6+4 at the first scan taken from measurements (turned out I was 7+2) and they said I was 8+2 at the second scan (I was 8+5). So try not to panic and let us know how you get on xx

Thanks girls very upset today.
i had my bfp as early as 6th July so must of been one of my shorter cycles and for this pregnancy to be only at six weeks and not later must of meant my implantation only took six days or so. So bloody worried now .
this must be A blighted ovum
