supposed to wait until you have had your 6 week check with GP,
also if breast feeding need to remember to replace calories, BF uses far more energy than I expected so I felt quite faint after first few bouts of excercise until I realised and bumped intake a bit.
get your tummy muscles checked as if they aren't knitting back together properly need to watch things like sit up etc

Shouldn't do sit ups as you can cause damage to your tummy if the muscles haven't knitted back together. You should wait at least six weeks before exercising.

I went back to the gym 10 days after giving birth. I exercised all the way through my pregnancy, right up until the day before I had him so my body was used to it. If you weren't exercising regularly when you were pg then I would wait until you feel ready and start gently and work your way up slowly.
Don't do any sit ups for a few months to make sure your stomach muscles have gone back together.
With regards to jogging, I started running again when the bleeding stopped being so heavy which was about 3 or 4 weeks after having him.
