A & J both spent the day with a friend on Saturday who by Sat night had chicken pox. Neither of mine have had it yet. Does anyone know if they are going to get it when it will likely appear?
If they don't get it this time they must have amazing immunity to it - A has been in contact with it loads and never got it but on Saturday was with the other girl for around 7 hours and they were cuddling, on trampolines and swings together etc so I'll be amazed if she doesn't get it

Oh no, I hope they don't get it.
According to NHS it can be 7 to 21 days after exposure for the symptoms to show:

Thanks Deedee, I was hoping I'd know by the end of the week if they were likely to get it lol. So worse case A could get it in 3 weeks then J could get it from her 3 weeks later. Be perfect timing when baby due in just under 6 weeks!

That really would be bad timing if that happened, although hopefully if either or both get it, it will be much sooner x

Fingers crossed :-) or even better that they don't get it, at least it would be out the way I guess but not something I want to deal with in the last few weeks of pregnancy!

There's really no way of knowing. IM(limited) experience, it normally shows closer to 7-10 days than 21 days after exposure.
They're at their most contagious just before the spots come out so sound like she was exposed at that time.

Thanks BG, hopefully it will come out sooner rather than later if she does get it!

My daughter came out with spots two weeks ago and 14 days later 2 of my others have spots and temps. Just waiting for the 4th to get the spots, hope I don't have to wait oo much longer.
If yours do get it I hope its sooner than later

Hope yours are all better soon HN. Think I'll be on spot watch for the next 2 weeks!
Could make getting to MW appts interesting if my H is working and they have the pox
