was it you who said N got in the habit of waking up in the night after he had a period of night terrors?

Not Hepburn (obviously) but C has had periods like this where he's had regular night terrors, then just got into the habit of waking up and coming into us. We used to do sticker charts to persuade him to stay in bed at night and it did work for him.

How early did you start these? J is 2 and 4 months so I'm just not sure if he would grasp the concept of that?

I've just searched back through hitched as I knew I'd posted about sticker charts on there, and he would have been a few months older, about 2y 9m - we didn't try it any earlier so not sure if he'd have understood before them.

Hi love. Yep if N gets into the routine of night terrors then its usually followed by normal wakings at a similar time. He had a few night terrors last week and now is waking nightly at around midnight just needing me or H.
We just go in and remind him that its night time as the blue star is out on his gro clock, then put him back into bed, tuck him him, give him a kiss and then usually sit in the chair in his room for a few minutes while he dozes back off. Sometimes he needs a quick cuddle before getting back ino bed.

I'd forgotten you had said about a gro clock...i think we are goung to have to invest in one!

It's really worked for us. He understands blue is 'bed and night' and yellow is 'up and play'
