Tonight was my first ever solo bedtime with a toddler and a newborn.
Managed a breastfeed and explodapoo change while toddler was in the bath, then got baby into the hammock asleep while I read toddler a story and got him into bed. Transferred baby to downstairs Moses still asleep. Ordered a dominos and am now sat here with wine waiting for it to arrive. Toddler and baby both snoring.
H not home till 9pm so now catching up on Home & Away in total quiet.

WOW!! You need to share tips... we're struggling to get G to sleep at the moment and just dreading how it'll be with a newborn to look after as well!

I have no tips, more luck than judgement I think!!
I got lucky that N was exhausted and baby relieved herself with the giant poo so was happy to feed to sleep
I have to do it all again on Wednesday, I'm guessing it won't be as easy!

Well done you! I always used to find that by the time I have sorted the toddler out the babies would have drifted off to sleep anyway because I was always too busy reading stories, brushing teeth etc to give them any attention! Enjoy your pizza and wine - nom nom nom. X

Well done to you. Once you get yourself into a bedtime routine you're fine. I pretty much put my 3 to bed solo most nights as H is often working late. Personally, I don't think it is as bad as some make out putting more than one to bed. In the early days when my third (AKA my non sleeper) was small I would always put my middle child to bed first as he was the easiest. I would then put A(oldest) to bed. She was easy too, but storytime would take a bit longer. This would then leave me time to focus on the baby

Well done you, sounds like you're doing a great job. I find it hard enough to put a toddler down!

Look at you lady! Wow! Not bad for a few weeks in either! We still have a nightmare between 5-6pm. Both are shouting for food, E tells M off for splashing/kicking/hair pulling/etc in the bath haha! I often need a G&T once they are dry and dressed!

Well deserved dominos I'd say!
