I am feeling really guilty but I cant seem to snap out of it. My husband is fantastic and is doing everything as I feel so rough, however nothing he does seems to be right. Some items of washing up need doing again, nothing he says is right and I am hating his smell!!! At this rate my baby wont have a dad around as he will bugger off. I gave up smoking as soon as I found out but he still smokes (outside only) but when he comes back in, it makes me gag and I think he thinks that I am making a mountain out of a molehill. He has being diy'ing this morning and when he came to cuddle me, he stunk!!! Help, is anyone else like this??? xxx

Yes - I am evil at the moment, I even made myself tea and breakfast this morning and didn't even ask anyone else if they wanted any!!! My OH jokes that whatever he says is wrong and keeps telling me to go and lie down (out of the way).

    Hiya.
I am guessing you are under 16 weeks or so? I was exactly the same with my OH. He stank. Of everything and nothing, he just smelt funny. Made me want to gag.
It wore off when the morning sickness disappeared (17 weeks for me). And then I wasn't so irritated with him either.
    It will pass!

I think it's normal to be like that, especially the smells. I keep telling my husband that i must be in my selfish, nasty hormone phase - i have no patience with anyone and cant be bothered with anything that doesnt involve the baby. Keep blamimg the hormones and hopefully he'll understand!

Men! Why are they so smelly?! If it's not burping or farting it's horrible sweaty smells after they've been playing football or stinky feet after wearing their trainers all day - or all four!
I didn't find that my OH smelt any worse...I don't think he could get any smellier! But I did go off the smell of raw meat to the extent that I couldn't walk do the meat aisle at the supermarket & my OH had to do all the cooking. I did get snappy at him as he always seemed to have a football match to watch rather than tidying up or doing little DIY jobs that needed doing, you do have to learn to bite your tongue alot whilst pregnant & hormonal! He was a star cooking all the time - all throughout my prgnancy (I even gagged making a pasta bake!) and he still does all the cooking and my LO is now 13wks...but he is very good at it and cooks the best roast veggies.
It's a shame your OH hasn't taken your pregnancy as an oppurtunity to give up smoking.
    Good luck.
