Are you keeping the baby clothes as your LO grows out of them for potential 2nd babies, or selling them on?
18/04/2013 at 17:15
I've kept all of C's for a potential #2, I know some people like to get rid of them all though and buy new for a new baby.

I kept all my stuff from G which is now a godsend as i have a lot less cash second time around!!
18/04/2013 at 17:34
Keeping the stuff I really like, passing on the rest to a friend
18/04/2013 at 17:35
Keeping! It's better with boys because alot of it you can use on a girl, whereas girls stuff can't necessarily be used for a boy. No way would I sell to have to fork out again, I'm thrifty mc thrifterson

As Missus S, def cheaper to keep and reuse. Likewise I try to buy all more expensive things like pram, play mats, rockers etc as gender neutral so can use again for number 2.

Yes, I've been bundling it up as she grows out of it and putting in loft.
I'm selling on as need the cash to buy his next clothes and don't want to keep incase we don't have number 2

We've kept everything as knew we wanted another ins couple of years. I have lent some stuff (grobags, jumparoo) to friends since, but then will be having it back plus some more when this one arrives.
I purposely bought things other than clothes in a neutral colour in case this one is a girl.

I kept a lot but baby number 2 won't be wearing any of it!
18/04/2013 at 18:12
At the moment we're only into 0-3 months, so the smaller stuff has hardly been worn. I've actually just packed it all into a box with my maternity clothes to go in the loft! Not sure if we'll be keeping all the current/future stuff though. Probably only things that we particularly like. Although like a lot of people have said, as its boy stuff if could be used for a girl too.

I've only kept the stuff I really like but even then I doubt I'd put a new baby in it because 'it's Ollie's'. I know I'm odd.
18/04/2013 at 18:15
I kept everything, even though H was adamant we weren't having another child I wasn't ready to let go of things.
18/04/2013 at 18:21
Exactly what HT says. The only stuff I've kept of Es is memory box stuff. I'd want a new baby in new stuff. There are so many ifs and buts that I'm not bothering. Space is the most precious commodity in our house.

I kept most things, I've also kept them from Isaac too for any other babies we have
18/04/2013 at 18:46
I loaned out most of sammy's. In fact they went round 2 more homes before returning back to me! Kept the loft a bit clearer anyway. I took the attitude I had my money's worth so if they got ruined so be it. Most are fine still though. Just as well I kept them, used to be convinced number 2 would be a girl but this one is a boy!

I've kept a lot of stuff, everything I bought myself and stuff I've really loved but there's so much and we don't have a great deal of space so it's hard. I want to keep the moses basket, baby bath crib just in case but we're falling over them at the moment and don't want to put them in the loft in case they go mouldy or whatever.
18/04/2013 at 18:59
I've kept everything - either for #2 or to pass on if my sister has a baby. Prams etc are gender neutral so will be keeping them too. Luckily we have a big attic! x

I didn't keep anything either time. I either put them on eBay or passed them on to family.
