We went for a brown & cream bear & bunny nursery with a mixture of different ranges (my mum made the bedding & matching curtains. This is how it looked before she was born, although we've rearranged the furniture a few times since. I put my sisters old tv & dvd player in their for late night breast feeding but never used it once so got rid of that!!!
This is how it is today (well her cot now as a bed anyway!). The chest of drawers is still in the same place & when we change her nappy & get her ready for bed on the changing table she always says goodnight to the bear & bunny (stickers!).

Ours is a teeny tiny room so we didn't do too much but before she goes in it I plan to cover the letters of her name in some bright fabrics for the blank wall, get some sort of stained glass suncatcher(s) for the window (we have a big stained glass window on the stairs and she loves it!) and make a mobile-type decoration from all the baby cards we received.

I can't wait to get mine finished.

Sorry Wispa only just came back to this thread. The letters are about 15cm high each, hope that helps.

Ooooh some good inspiration here! The walls of ours are painted and the furniture is in, but we have no decorations or soft furnishings yet.

I'm thinking classic winnie the pooh range now, has a few brighter colours in it - reds, yellows and greens...

That's really cute, K! I love winnie the pooh, and like you say, you can pick out those colours elsewhere. Are you doing any murals etc for the walls
(sorry for gatecrashing, everyone!)

Mr Kapowski thinks I should paint something on the wall - we have a colour already (toasted almond by Crown) that we have left over from our room which is essentially a pale creamy brown colour. Was thinking maybe some wall decals, coloured frames etc.

I love that Winnie the Pooh quote. Really cute. In fact, I love all of that, especially the bunny lamp!
