Where can I get these from please? I don't have the time or energy to trawl now!
I thought baba would be fine in all newborn stuff as had heard 0-3 would be too big for a few weeks, even if I have a big baby (currently measuring a week over). However my friend was telling me today her son didn't fit in any newborn stuff even though he was fairly light as he was tall, which I'm pretty sure will be the case with our LO, from what the MW has said and the fact that H is 6ft " 5" and I'm 5 8". My friend said they had to cut the feet out of all their baby grows!
Therefore thought it would be wise to get some footless ones, or even better ones with removable feet - if they exist? If anyone can recommend I'd be grateful, a quick look online is just showing normal ones with feet, but maybe with the change in weather there will be some on the way soon!

Never seen them with removable feet but rompers is generally the term for footless babygrows. I've seen quite a few in Next but not really looked for them IYSWIM.

Thanks JB, I had always assumed rompers was just another name for baby grows so will probably have more look now that I'll be googling the right thing! Will check Next now too.
I saw some in next today and have seen them before in tesco. I haven't seen any with removable feet though. How about rompers?

Thanks everyone. Hmm maybe I shouldn't bother then - was thinking socks would be a pita to keep on Willow though I guess it might be quite warm so possibly ok without? Clueless!
Ally the new born stuff I have does seem to vary a fair bit in size depending where I bought it, so maybe I'll just take a selection of those and 0-3 to hosp then.
If I can pick up a couple of cheap romper type things in Tesco or similar I will but won't go out of my way too much perhaps then.
Dammit, I thought I had this clothes malarkey cracked ages ago!

Yeah I'd take a selection and one should fit, I'll be taking 1 sleepsuit from about 4 different stores this time so I have something that fits!

I recommend sainsburys socks, go up to the knee and never come off. H wears them a lot as we have a lot of footless outfits. M&s and John Lewis do footless baby grows but a lot of more 'outfit' I find than just a baby gro.
H is v long but he was ok in up to one month things for ages so that size might be best. Again I'd recommend sainsburys bsbygros in up to one month size as being perfect for long new babies.
