Hi I've had two scans at 18+4 and again at 19+4 . I was told the same gender at both scans but I keep panicking that they could be wrong ( read stories them getting it wrong ) - I'm thrilled with the gender they told me - maybe can't believe my luck - what to you all think am I being paranoid or should I trust them ( are they more accurate these days ? The stories I've read are all a few years old )
ive added picture for opinions xxxx

I'd say the three lines between the legs that determine that its a girl are clearly visible in that scan pic. Definitely a little girl in my opinion....hope that's what were you were hoping for. Your tech knows best though :)

Thankyou xxxx I was told girl both times - the First Lady said 'keep your receipts but I'd see a girl '
then a week later a second lady said "yes thats girl "
i know they have to say they "aren't 100% " or
"keep your receipts " or something like that to cover themselves- you read the stories though and it worries me - I can't believe my luck having a girl !! I just worry XxxX

I don't see a willy xxxx what do you think of mine ?

I agree with girl :)
I don't have a pic of my sons potty shot but the shape was definitely different to yours.
The midwife said mine was a boy and it was very obvious, so I never worried about buying lots of blue lol. X

Not to be funny, but what's the worst that would happen - your baby boy is dressed in pink? so?Let clothes be clothes, all colours should be for all children.I have baby clothes in red, yellow, blue, pink, purple & rainbow etc and I am not finding out the gender.I've not bought dresses but I have bought pink items.

It's not the clothes lol my youngest son was always in rainbows ..... It's just all the planning etc - thinking its one person when it's another- I love all my kids and all my future kids but I still want the scan to be correct - ( love the vest with clouds on btw ) xxxx

Thanks, sorry if I sounded harsh, it was late and my post was quite blunt.I can see what you mean about going through the pregnancy thinking of them as one and then them being the other. I do know of a couple of people that happened to - one 'real life' friend who was told she was having a girl and the baby was actually a boy, and another on a forum who was told girl but he was a boy, that baby was just born last week I think. But I think it's pretty rare, and I'm sure you won't care if it did happen, you'll soon get used to calling them by a different name.I've chosen not to find out the gender this time, the only thing that really bugs me is referring to the baby as "it" rather than being able to say he or she. Sometimes I use "they" but then it sounds like I'm referring to multiple babies I was actually really excited to just go mad on gender neutral clothes & bright colours rather than a sea of pale pink or pale blue LOL, and buy because I liked them rather than because they are defined as being "for girls" or "for boys" lol.Good luck & congrats. And I'm sure your scan is right x
