Morning Boris. Headaches are horrid but I really do hope it is just a nasty one and nothing more sinister. Sounds like you're coping we'll with all your aches and pains. Take it easy if you can x
AFM not posted in a couple of days, the thread is always too long by the time I get to it! All well here although I feel huge and uncomfortable with 11 weeks still to go. Oh dear! Mum had Isla yesterday so I spent the day doing jobs, housework mainly
But I also popped to the shops and bought Isla a bigger travel cot for our hols and bought baby a rather girly baby grow so that has to be hidden out of the way in case my mum or someone else sees it. Meeting up with a friend for coffee later today. And H is home from work earlier as it's Friday yay! Hi to all x

I must admit when I was reading your update I was thinking pre-E. Hopefully it's not but if it is then at least you had a well cooked baby in there. A was back to back and on the large side at 9lb, it's my fear this time too! Have a look at spinning babies website (the actual address escapes me) for tips on how to get them to move round. Try to sit forward as much as you can, no slouching back on the sofa!
Mrs B - hope you manage to hide the babygrow! I had to do similar when expecting A, I ha a drawer full of white and neutral clothes that I'd open when anyone nosed around the nursery!
AFM - Urgh, suffering a bit with this rotten cold, it's now gone to my chest. Still managed a semi-productive day yesterday, 4 loads of baby clothes washing done, put the new born bits in see through bags in sets ready to go into the hospital bag, I now have a list of things to pack for said bag and also cleaned the car seat, carry cot and a load of toys. Was exhausted just from walking up the stairs.
Meant to have a long day tomorrow with Colchester Zoo in the day then a wedding in the evening, will see how I feel in the morning.
BG - 36+0

Boris - hope it remains just a headache. I had really high bp, and swelling and headaches but never got pre e. D was a big un too.
Mrs B - hope the baby gro remains hidden.
BG - glad you had a priductive day. And take it easy at Colchester zoo. Lots of hills there.
Afm - really struggling now. Had a big cry last night but don't feel any better. I overheard D telling my mum that she can't wait for her sister to be here so mummy can play again. Broke my heart. 3 days til due date. End is defo in sight now x
16/08/2013 at 08:00
Oh Daisy, that would get me too, at least D understands that it's not because you don't want to play with her. The end is near lovely.

Early birds her today!
Boris - sounds like you have a lot going on, but are fairly laid back about it, which is the best way. Hope appt goes ok.
MrsB - sounds like a great start to your weekend. As for feeling huge, I think sometimes we have growth spurts as I've felt massive a few times!
BG - I watched Bridget Jones last night. I keep thinking you look like her because of your pic on here. In reality you don't at all - much foxier. Anyway, maybe your cold is a sign bby will come soon? My friend had an awful cold and felt quite ill in the week or so before hers arrived...
Daisy - Get on the curry/ball/walking/ sex/cold showers - whatever you can do to shift that bubba! Not long now.
AFM - saw my mum again yesterday. She has been saying for the last week she wants the baby to come now, and it's really annoying me. I said yesterday that was unfair as I don't want to go into labour naturally if there is a chance it could happen when i am out by myself with my son, or it may affect delivery and being in an EMCS situation again. I said maybe think of me and my needs? Thing is, it's been a long 9months, sure, and they offered me a date of yesterday, but i said no as i want baby as cooked as possible. My ELCS is bookedfor next week, and she knows when it is, so it's hardly like she is hanging on and on. My EDD is a week tomorrow anyway. Grr.
More tidying etc today. Have to post some ebay stuff and double check I don't need anything else for baby. Had a few last minute panic buys online last night (nappy bin liners, baby's first year book etc)
16/08/2013 at 08:12
Thanks. I feel all I do is moan atm. I will stop very soon.
16/08/2013 at 08:28
Boris - hope hosp appt goes ok.
Mrs B - all sounds good :)
BG - dont do too much if you've got a cold as well mrs
Daisy - you poor thing. really not long now (although i want to punch anyone that says "not long to go" so i am sorry!)
IDC - tell you mum to pipe down!
AFM - last say at work todayand i cant wait to be out of this place. i hate where iw ork and will definately be looking for a new job on mat leave. busy weekend seeing friedsn and bits and bobs so thats a nice start to mat leave.
hello to everyone that follows :)
16/08/2013 at 08:59
Boris- Really sounds like you are having a tough time of it at the minute! Really hope your BP stays down and your aches and pains bugger off xx
MrsB- Another one that is feeling huge and uncomfortable here with 11 weeks to go! I said to H last night that I really don't know how baby can still have so much growing to do. Where is she going to fit!? Hope you have a lovely day.
BG- Your day yesterday sounds really busy! Try to take it easy today and it sounds like tomorrow is going to be a long one too. Sounds like you are getting everything organised though :)
Daisy- Very understandable that you are finding everything difficult at the min. The end is very nearly here and you will have baby so very soon! xx
IDC- I think people just say things without really thinking when you are pregnant. Try not to take too much notice even though I understand how frustrating it is!
Twink- So jealous it's your last day at work! Enjoy your day and make sure you don't actually do anything haha. I also don't think I will be returning after mat leave but it's a long way off so we will just have to see!
AFM- I am finding it impossible to get out of bed in the mornings. Usually it's alarm goes off, I jump up no problems. Today I turned 3 alarms off and woke up really late in a panic. I was about 10 minuted late in to work but luckily no one was here so I slipped in late un-noticed. I finish at 2pm today so looking forward to that. Also, only 31 working days to go after today! whoohoo haha
16/08/2013 at 09:15
Boris - fingers crossed you get on okay at the hospital, hopefully its nothing serious like pre-eclampsia. Let us know how you get on.
MrsB - I'm getting increasingly more uncomortable these days too. Enjoy coffee with your friend.
BG - Sorry to hear you're still suffering with the cold. Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday. Make sure you get some rest today.
Daisy - Not long for you to go now, hopefully baby wont keep you waiting too long.
IDC - That is annoying that she would say that, perhaps knowing the date of your CS means that she is even more excited about baby soon arriving, IYKWIM? But i can completely see why you wouldn't want anything to happen before hand.
Twink - Enjoy your last day! Yay! Hope you can have a nice chilled mat leave, we all know how you can get carried away with decorating etc.
Sam - Well done on managing to slip in late unnoticed. Its just so easy to snooze an alarm and us pregnant ladies need our sleep!
AFM - Hopefully meeting up with a friend today, not sure what we will be doing as it keeps raining on and off today. Maybe just go for a wander round the shops? Then im off to H's basketball match tonight, fingers crossed they win. Then i've got the day off work on Saturday as i didn't have any clients booked in, so not point going. Won't be back until the 31st after that. As i've got some annual leave booked. Wooooo!
16/08/2013 at 09:59
Boris - good luck, hope that all turns out to be fine, will be looking for your update later.
MrsB - sounds like a nice day, enjoy!
BG - colds are rubbish :( Take it easy today so you are ready to roll tomorrow.
Daisy - aww at D :( I hope you don't have to wait much longer.
IDC - I would be really annoyed if my mum said that to me and I was in your position! So annoying.
Twink - woohoo last day! Hope it goes well. Leave plenty of horrible tasks for your rubbish colleague to sort next week!
Sam - I know how you feel, I'm not sleeping great at night so mornings are a struggle. Glad you have an early finish today though, hopefully that will get you through.
MS - sounds like a lovely few days, enjoy today whatever you end up doing. Remember to fuel your wandering with regular tea and cake stops!
AFM - my parents are coming up for the day today. Hopefully they are bringing the cot with them as they have ordered it, but they haven't mentioned it and I don't like to as it's a present haha. So not sure if there will be cot construction today or not! I hope so as the nursery is ready to go but has nothing at all in it at the moment so it looks a bit sad and lonely.
16/08/2013 at 10:00
Argh baby has become a squash! Ouch!
16/08/2013 at 10:17
TT- Hope it is a cot construction day for you! Will be lovely to see the nursery come together :) I really don't like the idea of a squash, terrifying!

I’m terrible at keeping up to date I know!
Boris – Hope all goes well at appointment and that that headache shifts for you!
MrsB – Hope you manage to keep the babygrow secret. We had one person in the family who didn’t want to know. But it’s too late now, cat’s out the bag – the whole world knows we’re having a pink one haha
BG – busy day yesterday and tomorrow? Use today to put your feet up then….it’s only logical x
Daisy – Oh bless D, at least she knows you’ll be able to play again soon x
IDC – how frustrating about your mum, like you say it’s not as if she is waiting about for an unknown date. Just try to breathe and let it go, not long left!
Twink – enjoy (if you can) your last day at work lovely!! – please make sure you do no real work though!
Sam – Ah, at least I’m not alone then. I’m 31 weeks tomorrow and the tiredness has hit me out of nowhere!
MS – sounds like you have a nice weekend coming up. And a lovely long break from work – jealous!
TT – hope the cot is up and looking good by the end of the day!
AFM – 31 week check yesterday. Baby measuring spot on with head down and bum up. My blood pressure was a bit low but she didn’t seem too concerned about that. Been suffering hip pain and she suggested using the gym ball to try and loosen it up, worked a bit last night so will keep it up and see how it goes.
In other news – nursery is basically finished – H put the wallpaper up (finally!) the other day and it is looking amazing. Now to get filling the wardrobe and drawers!
Tomorrow we are babysitting H’s two nephews and then we have his grans 70th birthday party to go to. Will need to have an afternoon nap after looking after the two boys otherwise I’ll be ready for bed by 9pm!

Morning All, quick post as after a fab day at Legoland yesterday we are in the car and off to watch Monsters University at the movies. These are the only two days we have off as a family over the school hols so trying to make the most it. Its pouring with rain so seemed like a good idea. Might have lunch at F&B's if the girls are good.
