J woke up at half 5 this morning, brought him in with me and he is now sound asleep but I've been awake ever since :-( We've got toddlers this morning, last one before the summer holidays and then it's A's nursery sports day this afternoon. Everything fine at MW yesterday, bump back to measuring spot on after being small for a while so I'm on track for another big baby. Should get a growth scan next week to get a more accurate idea.
Hope everyone else is well

Good to hear that bump is on track. Hope the rain holds up and sports day gets the go ahead and you dont feel too tired.
Not much to report here. I think baby has moved sideways lots of kicks and moves to both sides! Couple of people at work yesterday we're saying how I'm starting to look heavily pregnant now, which is nice as this bump has Bern a long time coming and taken a while to grow! Can't wait for the weekend, I'm tired this week and need a lie in!

Morning bunny! Hope you manage to get a peaceful weekend and a chance to relax
21/06/2013 at 07:06
Ally - rubbish about the early start! Hope you have a good day. Glad to hear everything went well at the MW
Bunny - that's good about bump showing properly now
Afm - I've taken today as holiday as it needed using before my maternity leave and I was wide awake at 6:20! It's too hot and sticky! Off shopping with my friend today which will be nice and its pay day. I think that's my last full pay before maternity leave though.
Have a good day everyone

Morning early birds!
Ally - Aww, hope A has a blast at sports day, I cry already thinking about A's one and I've got 2 years before it! Little rascal
J is getting up so early when he was still tired! Glad all was well at mw.
Bunny - That made me smile about enjoying the big bump comments, I've been having them pretty much since I announced at 16w and am done with them now . Hope you get some well earned rest this weekend
TT - isn't it always the way that you wake early on a day off. Your day sounds fab, anything in particular you want to buy?
AFM - Brace yourselves, we have a name on our joint shortlist! It's taken 22 weeks from when we first discussed names to get to one name, so it may well be THE name. Sorry to be a tease but I want to keep it quiet for the moment whilst I ponder it. H was keen to just F'ing agree it, and I am keen to come to a landing but I don't want to say yes now then change my mind in a few weeks.
Have a fairly easy day at work today, ony thing in my diary is lunch with the girls to celebrate one of them getting engaged. H is away with work tonight so think I'll indulge at lunch so I only have to make a sandwich for my tea for 1 tonight.
28 weeks today, I always feels a bit weird around now as 3 of my friends have had babies at this gestation, all now healthy 1-6 year olds.

Morning BG - am after some shelves to put all the computer stuff on that needs moving downstairs as it was previously in the nursery. Then got a long list of other stuff, birthday presents, a few bits for hospital bag etc. can't wait until my first proper shopping trip when I can start buying clothes for me again!
Good news about the name, we still can't agree on a girls name. Got 2 boys names but it all depends on what the royal baby is called (providing they have it before us!)
21/06/2013 at 07:34
Ally, enjoy sports day and hope you can get some rest.
Bunny, yay for bump and yay for the weekend, hope you can get a good lie in tomorrow.
Twinkletoes, enjoy your shopping.
BG, how fab to have a potential name!
AFM, off to work this morning then meeting up with a friend and her baby this afternoon which I'm looking forward to. H away fishing tomorrow overnight, so we are going to my mum's for lunch tomorrow to celebrate my dad's birthday. Baby super wriggly, one week today until I get my section date!
21/06/2013 at 07:35
Enjoy your shopping TT
BG - glad you've got a name. We have settled on Samuel now finally, well I have, my H had said he thinks he's changed his mind but I've got the kids on my side and they tell him the baby is called Sam lol
21/06/2013 at 08:09
Oh god TT, can you imagine f the royals steel our only agreed name? I think it's unlikely, don't think this name has a royal history to it. I'm hoping they go fr Alexandra of it's a girl as we couldn't use that anyway.
Ally - I'm glad you saw sense with Samuel!
M - so exciting about getting your section date. Is it likely to be around 39w?
21/06/2013 at 08:53
Just a quick hello from me today!
Super busy with handover meetings, last minute things to get done before next week! One more week to go hurrah!

Ally, sounds like a busy day after not much sleep! Glad the MW went well
Bunny, fx bunny moves back to head down soon! Glad you're enjoying yout bump!
TT, enjoy your day off! I've had my last full paycheck this month too! Scary times ahead!
BG, Yaaaaayyyy to having a name! Hopefully baby BG won't arrive at 28 weeks but if that did happen, it's good you'd have lots of support around you.
Margot, can't believe it's only a week until you get your date! Time flies!! Have a good day
AFM - had NCT breastfeeding class last night which was very interesting and made me realise how much I want to BF. Hoping this drive and access to support will see me through the inevitable hiccups. But also a bit worried how I'll cope if it doesn't work now. Tonight me and H are getting takeaway and putting together the nursery furniture!

Noodle enjoy your day off
Afm I'm just bumbling along really, physio yesterday was quite successful had a bump band thing which aligns back and takes some weight of baby. Pain has been alot better this week though which is great. I'm going to staff awards for work tonight as have been nominated with an award, wasn't too keen on going because of the drive but my manager has emailed to ensure I go and H is going to take me and pick me up at 10. Very honoured to be asked to go
21/06/2013 at 11:30
I'm not saying it's THE name, but it's the first we've agree to put on a shortlist, so it's looking likely as a shortlist of 1! Either way it's a massive step forward.
Duckford - glad physio helped
Noodle - hope you enjoy the leaving do
PW - glad you found the class useful
PC - on the home straight, not long to go!
21/06/2013 at 13:17
BG - they've said sometime in between 39 and 40 weeks, so it will be the week of 12th August (which is the day my ML is starting - advantage of a planned section!) Really looking forward to knowing the date.
21/06/2013 at 14:12
Sorry havent gotten on today for personals but making the most of a child free morning to get some more jobs down at home.
So due date is tomorrow, no sign of 'sprout' making an appearance yet. Everything now done so baby out vibes needed!!!
Will try and get back on later to catch up! Xx

Good afternoon ladies,
Ally – oh no, that’s way too early to be awake from. Hope you manage to catch up on your sleep this weekend. Glad all went well at MWs. Also liking using your kids to bully *ahem* convince H of the name!
Bunny – enjoy your lie in this weekend. Exciting news about your bump making it’s appearance known to all.
Twinkletoes – have you had a successful shopping trip?
Bridget – ooooh, exciting news about the name. We’re STILL working on ours – down to 3 girls and 4 boys names.
Margot – how exciting to be able to find out when your section will be. Hope you’re enjoying your afternoon.
Porkchop – hope your handover is going well. Not long to go now.
Pirate Wife – glad the breastfeeding session went well. That sounds a great evening ahead. Very exciting!
Noodle – when are you going on ml? Enjoy your night out however long you last.
Duckford – sounds very exciting being nominated for an award. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you, hope you have fun.
MrsH – making the most of childfree time sounds a good idea. Time to relax before baby makes it appearance. *Baby out vibes coming your way*
AFM – a busy morning for me so far as I’ve just been baking 3 cakes for my mum’s 50th birthday party tomorrow – enough cake to feed 40 odd people. I clearly had baby brain when I was writing my shopping list as I’ve had to pop out for eggs. The last of the cakes is in the oven – just need to ice one of the cakes and tidy the mess, but can’t face the washing up just yet. Baby has been moving around loads making me feel a bit sickly. I’d be happy if that feeling would stay away!
Hope you all have a fab weekend.
