Morning ladies, everyone ok?
Any plans for the weekend? We're hoping to have a day out tomorrow after being stuck in all week (well, apart from the hospital trips!) F is much better so I'm going to try taking him to nursery today, I think it'll do him the world of good to play with his little friends and it means I can take it easy again today.
Hi to all who follow.

A good rest sounds exactly what you need after this week! Ita been an emotional roller coaster for you. Amy ideas wjere you may go tomorrow?
AFM - I'm working all weekend :( I have all of Easter off so I can't complain too much. I was wearing jeggings yesterday and came to the realisation that its time for maternity trousers. My usual ones are just too uncomfortable now. My bump feels huge for 13 weeks!
Hi to all that follow, have a great friday! xxx

Thanks boo, hope works not too bad this weekend xx

MrsL - I'm feeling much happier now I know baby is ok, just still feeling quite drained after everything this week. I just hope I don't get any further bleeding, I'm permanently on knicker watch! It sounds like you have a nice weekend plsnned, enjoy.
Boo - we're hoping to go to a local garden centre which has an Easter Funyard for kids, it looks really good. They also have a huge maize maze in the summer! I've just ordered some maternity jeans, my usual denim leggings still fit fine but I could do with a couple more pairs and figured it'd make sense to buy maternity! I hope your working weekend isn't too bad.

WG - I'm glad you're feeling better and I hope you have a rest while F is at nursery.
MrsL - I hope you're well, it sounds like you have a nice weekend planned.
Boo - I hope your weekend goes quickly what with work.
AFM - I had difficulty getting to sleep last night as I had lots of strong cramps and I thought it was the beginning of the end. Thankfully, there was nothing this morning when I went to the loo and I had a bit of nausea and still got very sore boobs, so I'm taking that as a positive thing. I'm tempted to book an early scan but I'll leave it a couple of weeks before I book anything. I'll probably be a bit stressy like this in the next few weeks so I apologise in advance. We're hoping to go to the zoo tomorrow and we've got a wedding to go to on Sunday - it's an early evening one so I'm hoping the kids will be ok!

Morning. Well what a nightmare in had! HUGE bleed last night, bleeding most of the night, self presented to EPU today and was scanned 30 mins later, had to have TV and abdominal scan at same time. Asked the woman just to confirm mc as wanted out of there v quickly, but (!!) there's still a hb , there's a big bleed too (smaller than with Isaac) so they said il carry on bleeding but if it worsens I've to go back.
Omg here was me thinking we might have it easy this time
Right need to dash to get boys as at fils. Will try personals later
O and I'm 7+3

TRF - how scary for you, massive hugs, I hope the bleeding stops soon xx

WG: Glad to hear F is feeling better, enjoy your relaxing day you deserve it x
MrsL: Enjoy your weekend
Boo: Hope work goes quickly this weekend. Embrace the maternity trousers, I'm still resisting as I think they double my bump in size!! Great for comfort though!
DS: The worrying is awful isn't, as is the waiting. Hope your nausea goes soon. Enjoy your weekend, sounds like fun.
AFM: I feel sop shattered today. Having looked after Isobelle all week (usually my hubby does bedtimes - well when he's work in time eh WG!) but he's been away all week for work. So last night I was really looking forward to a lovely sleep. My toddler had other ideas & decided to throw up in the night. Oh the fun, luckily she seemed ok other than a bit of a temp but I couldn't sleep worrying about her being sick again & then she woke me up again with a nice big pooey nappy. The joys of parenthood. Hubby, of course, slept through the whole thing. Was supposed to be going to the sling library to finally learn how to sling her on my back but can't risk spreading her bug. Nothing much planned for the weekend except a massive pile of marking that I've been putting off. Then roll on Monday when I finally get to see my little pumpkin on the screen (we've named the bump pumpkin due to EDD end of Oct).

WG hope you get to relax a bit today. I love having a wander around the garden centre they always have some random things and its great if they have things to keep f entertained too.
Mrs l sounds like a lovely weekend planned.
Boo I would definitely recommend maternity trousers! Go for it they are so comfy.
D's maybe they were stretching pains? That's good that everything is OK at the moment and you have nice things planned for the weekend.
Rf how frightening. I hope that the bleeding stops soon and you can take it easy over the next few days.
Bk hope you manage to have an easy day and possibly a nap later to catch up on some sleep!
Off to lunch today with one of h's work friends who has a 5 month old. She cried when he told her about the baby she was so happy. She knew k and was very good with her. Looking forward to it I love eating out!

DS - fingers crossed the cramps were just normal pregnancy aches and pains. 1st tri ain't half a worrying time, isn't it. Enjoy your weekend.
RF - gosh how frightening, I really hope the bleeding stops soon and that's the last of it. Take it easy this weekend.
BK - it seems there's a lot of bugs going around at the minute. I hope you have a better night tonight. My H has thankfully been working more local this week so has been home earlier to help with F. Not long until scan now!
Bunny - enjoy your lunch out.
F ended up throwing up all over me this morning so he's hasn't gone to nursery. This bug is ridiculous, just when we think he's getting better he's sick again. Barely eating anything bless him, he's definitely lost weight. I'm going stir crazy at home. Oh and I'm waiting for my GP to ring as I need more antibiotics for my UTI - the hospital haven't given me enough to last the 7 days!

Looks like I crossed posts with a few of you this morning, I really am a slow typer & always type too much!
RF: Sounds really scary but so glad your baby is doing ok, take care & rest as much as possible.
Bunny: Hope you enjoyed your lunch
WG: Fingers crossed F is now over his bug. Isobelle hasn't been sick again so hopefully it was a 1 off. Hurrah for your hubby being around more!
A lot of you lovely 1st tri ladies (& 2nd tri Picklepants) have had a very stressful week but it seems we all have very strong babies! Have a great weekend all x x

Hello all - sorry I've not been on - work has been mental!
WG - so glad that everything is ok with you but hope you are taking it easy.
MrsL - sounds like a nice weekend - enjoy.
Boo - sorry that you are working but yay to buying maternity clothes.
DS - it's so scary the first few weeks isn't it. I had cramps early on and was scared to death. And don't apologise for being stressy!
TRF - how scary for you. So sorry you had to go through that. Hope you are taking it easy now!
BK - hope there's no more sick! And hope you can catch up on that sleep
Bunny - hope you enjoyed lunch! How lovely about your friend.
AFM - have just broken up for Easter. Am so relieved. Still knackered and feeling sick all the time but think I'm getting used to it. Am at that point where I don't quite believe there's a baby there despite last weeks scan. Have a busy Easter hols planned as we are moving house two weeks today (touch wood). Might go to pub with H and his best mate tonight or might just put my pjs on and crash in front of TV. Second option looking more likely at the moment! Have a lovely weekend all and hope there are no more stresses.

BK - Poor I, I hope she's feeling better and you both have a better night. I've been putting off marking as well, but it'll have to be done next week.
Bunny - I hope you've had a lovely lunch today.
WG - Poor F - O had a bug that would keep coming back, causing him to throw up, it lasted about 7-10 days in all. I hope your GP has sorted your prescription for you.
GB - Hurrah for it being the Easter break - rest, rest and more rest (which is what I've been mainly doing as I've been off for a week already).
11/04/2014 at 17:21
I forgot to add, I've sorted out my booking-in appointment with the MW on 29th April. Hopefully, I haven't been premature about sorting it but the appointments can be hard to get here.
11/04/2014 at 17:29
WG how silly of the hospital To not give you enough antibiotics you would've thought they would know better!
Bk I agree sounds like a relaxing weekend is needed.
GB hello make sure you get some resting time as well over your holidays. Fingers crossed for the house move.
11/04/2014 at 17:32
Ds that's good that you've sorted out your appointment. Its always better to book in earlier rather than them not having a space for you when need it.
Had a lovely lunch but I just can't fit much food in at the mo only had soup and a roll but left most of the soup as I was too full up. I think as things are expanding my stomach must be getting squashed!
