Gorgeous + hot here in Germany so happy about that!
Very impresive bumps Miss Deedee & Ms Brass yesterday!!!! No chance on hiding those for much longer!! Loved your scan picture Ms Brass!
All good here - no symptoms except maybe tiredness - could also be jetlag though and my 3 year old up every night into our bed :)

Morning sue, it's a big overcast at the moment but were forecast another nice sunny day today.
Do you stay in Germany or you on hol? It's dress down day at work today and I've had to wear a sort of dressy scarf as you can see my bloated belly! I'm really struggling to hide this.
Not much from me, we have our private scan tomorrow, I'll be 9+2, I'm just c-rapping myself now, I'm so worried. Keeping e evrythings crossed that all is well!
Mrs Bass are you not telling work yet? (Just with you saying yesterday that people are going to guess soon?)
Imp hope your feeling better lovey, typical that you get ill when your off work too!xx

HI Missdeedee - I live here for the last 13 years. I'm originally from Ireland. Good luck with your scan! I'll have my 1st one next Tuesday so although I'll probably just see a sac at 5 weeks I'm still terrified nothing will be there!!
Is this your 1st or 2nd baby?
Have a great day

My H was born in Germany (but at a uk army hospital). We always plan to go visit but never gone yet.
First baby, we've been trying since last sept, got a bfp in feb but had a MMC and then fell pregnant again the next month after my ERPC so bit nervous! I had a scan at 6 weeks and we saw a tiny button with a heartbeat so that's given me reassurance for the past 3 weeks, just worrying again, I'm so scared it happens again. Ok putting those thoughts out of my mind!!x

Sue - whereabouts in Germany? I lived near Stuttgart for year in my younger days. Met a nice barman out there ... Now married to him!!
MDD - fingers crossed for drama-free scan tomorrow :-)
AFM - LO slept thru last night, so I had good nights sleep too. Hurrah. Already this morning I have made bread, breakfasted, showered & shaved everything, shortly I will be heading to yard to move my trailer outside the gates (as taking nag on little endurance ride tomorrow and need to leave at 7am but farm manager won't have unlocked gates by then), then taking LO to playstop gym and this afternoon am meeting up with a bunch of local mummys at our local kids splashpark in town centre for some water based fun in the sun.
Hoping to hide bump from them all. Gawd knows how. 12week scan next Weds - will be so relieved to go public. (Presuming everything okay obviously)

Sorry I've not been around - having a tough time at the mo and haven't had a chance to get on here. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to catch up properly on the last few days but I am loving the bump shots from yesterday and HF, the decorating looks fab.
On to today...
Sue - hello! Lovely to see you in 1st Tri :-)
missdeedee - your private scan will be fine, I know it.
HF - wow, another productive morning from you. Hope you have a lovely time at the waterpark and that nobody clocks on!
I'm counting down the days until I leave this job. I can't wait. Had to go to a client meeting yesterday and just sat through it thinking, 'I don't care, I don't care, I don't care!' . Ha ha.

Sue, we have a lovely sunny morning here too!! hoping it stays like this all weekend! I cant imagine jetlag, early pregnancy and a 3 year old are the best combination! good luck! Are you or your partner military?
missdeedee- sending lots of vibes for tomorrow, what time is it? Telling work is a tricky one, on one hand I want to tell my friends, but my interview on Wed is internal so don't want it getting back to them (although completely different department so unlikely!) but also my H works at the same university and he is telling people today so it might get around to my manager! I need to send an email on Monday about my leaving do and im only sending that to the people i get on with so i might just add a 'PS I pregnant'!
HorseFan im jealous of the waterbased fun in the sun! Yours and Imp's scans are getting nearer too, how exciting! Good luck hiding that bump!!
Penny- sorry to hear you are having a tough time, hope you are looking after yourself! You dont have much time left at this job now though do you?!
AFM- I had a busy afternoon making phone calls and sending texts! every one is so excited and seem to think we'll make great parents, which is nice! H has headed off to work with the scan photos to tell people, he has been waiting for this moment for 2 months! When we first found out he came up with some elaborate Facebook announcement idea (he hates FB and only really uses it for his band stuff) found out this morning he has been working on it the few weeks and is just waiting for the go ahead to be able to post it!!
I have another day off today so im going to get the bus down to our local retail park where there is a mothercare & mama's & papa's!! just to have a look though! Im going to try and buy some maternity jeans and tops too!
07/06/2013 at 11:29
Miss Deedee - only naturlal to be a bit more woried than usual with your experience. Fingers crssed all will e well which I am sure itwill!
Horsefan - Living in Leverkusen, near Cologne. I'm married to nice German guy too! Good luck hiding the bump!
Penny - Hope you are doing ok - Hope the days pass quickly How many days left?
Mrs Brass - neither are military - I moved over as studied German in colege and stayed and my H is German! Enjoy telling everyone!!!
My plan is to buy ''I'm going to be a big sister'' for my 3 yer old and let her wear it when we visit my PIL and whilst doing Facetime with my family in Ireland!!!
Have a great weekend everyone -we are going to a housewarming and a BBQ so going to miss a cold beer :)

Helloooo ladies from sunny Turkey! Just popped back in to say hello and farewell..im on the move to 2nd tri. See you all over there soon! Keep those babies nice and toasty! :-)
07/06/2013 at 14:18
Mrs Bass - Ah, so glad you're enjoying telling everyone. Enjoy your shopping!
Sue - just until next Friday. I can't wait. Could you maybe try drinking Becks Blues instead of real beers? I find that they are closest tasting thing that you can get to the real thing.
Hello Gemini! Hope you're enjoying your holiday. Have fun in 2nd Tri :-)
07/06/2013 at 14:43
Sue congratulations and welcome to first tri! I'm sure your symptoms will kick in soon, and not long to wait until your first scan!
Missdeedee nice bump yesterday, I can see why you're struggling to hide it. Massive good luck vibes for tomo, I'm sure it'll all be fine but make sure to come back and flash is.
HF you sound like you've had a productive day, I hope you enjoyed the splashing about today.
Penny just keep thinking only another week, then you're free and on holiday!
Mrs bass, how lovely to be telling people. Enjoy every moment of it. Oh, and I hope you enjoyed browsing at the baby stuff!
Gemini, nice to see you. Hope the holiday is great, hopefully see you over on 2nd tri soon.
AFM I am still in bed. I woke up every hour last night with coughing and a blocked or runny nose. My ears feel like their filled with water or sand, and I've got a permenant headache! Great! All this time in bed on my own isn't doing me any good either, I've got way too much time to think about stuff and have convinced myself something is wrong. I keep crying every time H brings me anything or asks if I'm ok, I feel v sorry for him as he doesn't know what to do. Only 6 days until D day now, so hopefully if I can start to feel better and keep myself busy it'll take my mind off things!
07/06/2013 at 16:08
HF I don't know where you find all the time for that! Yor like supermum! I didn't know that's how you met your H either.
Penny nice to see you. I was just thinking about you today and wondering if you were ok as I hadn't 'seen' you for ages. Sorry it's still cra-p at work, as imp says, you keep counting down the days and your out of there to your new job :)
Mrs Bass sounds lovely being able to tell people. I hope you had fun shopping today and got some nice mat stuff so you can ditch the potato sack looking attire!
Gemini hope the holiday is going well and hope 2nd tri is going ok.
Imp sorry your not feeling better, that sounds terrible. I'm sure everything will be ok lovey and try not to keep worrying (rich from me I know!!) Your scans come round so quickly! 6 days!! My NHS one isn't until 2 weeks on wed.
My scan's not until 2pm tomorrow so have all morning to wait. I'll come on and let you know how it goes, thanks for the good luck and I'll accept anymore going until tomorrow afternoon!x
07/06/2013 at 16:20
Oh Imp I really feel for you! can up not grab your duvet and curl up in front of the telly so you can watch some DVDs to distract you?
Well my shopping trip started of pretty badly. The bus route there goes along a really bump road and I started to feel really queesy! It didnt help that it was so humid! All I could think was "Im sure I wont be the first woman to throw up in Mothercare"
Luckily it didnt come to that but Mothercare didnt have much, neither did Next, the maternity section in Asda living seemed to have disappeared! I was hot, feeling sick and getting really pissed off! But then I went into Mama's & Papa's and they had a sale ont heir maternity wear!! YAY! I got a really nice dress and some really light electric blue cropped trousers! I was very happy and when I left I was feeling a lot better! No surprise! I decided to have another hunt in Asda and found a very limited maternity section in the corner of their baby section! I found some jeans I love (im so fussy about my jeans) and they were abargain! They are the comfiest thing I have worn in a long time!
07/06/2013 at 16:27
MrsB - what kind of elaborate fb announcement? Im intrigued.
Sue - I was in Cologne a few weeks ago - only for a few hours tho, was on route back a lovely holiday in Austria.
Imp - oh no, get well soon!
Well am absolutely shattered. But LO has had marvellous fun, so that's all that matters!
07/06/2013 at 16:29
Sorry to hear you're having a tough time Penny? Is it just the stress of old job / working out your notice?
07/06/2013 at 17:44
missdeedee- sending you loads of vibes, non-stop, until 2pm tomorrow xxx
Mrs Bass - well done for not actually throwing up on the bus or in Mothercare. Sounds like you had a good shopping trip apart from that though. :-)
HF - awwww your LO is such a cutie. Yeah most of it is stress of the old job - they are making things pretty unbearable for me and I'm not sleeping very well. I've not told them I'm pregnant either so I'm trying to cover that up. Plus I'm struggling with a lack of symptoms - just not 100% sure that everything is ok in there. I can't wait to finish with this place next Friday cos then I'm going on holiday, then I've got my scan - and so I should be in a better place all round (even if the scan is bad news - at least I'll know what's what).
