Happy birthday weekend coco! Sounds like a lovely weekend. Hope you get spoilt rotten.
AFM, H is home tonight, he's been away since last Monday and I'm so excited to see him. Pregnancy wise, I did an IC today and it's getting darker, which I guess is good. I'm currently on the train into work and I'm feeling a bit twingey. Not crampy or anything but I don't think having a Burger King last night was the best idea!!

Aww a night out sounds fab Coco! Really hope you have a lovely time x
Not much news from me either. Just blinking glad it is Friday, my H is home from working away for a few days and I can't wait to have a lovely weekends together.

Barefoot - read up on yesterday - so relieved for you and sorry to hear about the Fibroids - I suppose they won't operate when you are pregnant or? Sorry I have no experience of fibroids - hugs to you and definately talk to work - you & the baby are the priority for the next while.
AFM - all good - got stuck in a traffic jam for an hour on the way home yesterday and I was so sick in the car I was convinced I'd throw up. Managed to makeit home, put little Sue to bed and was in bed at 8pm myself!!!
ITS FRIDAY thank God!!!!

Think I definately scudded myself yesterday, spent 10 minute being sick and nearly missed my train, feel absolutely rubbish. Glad its Friday, I intend to sleep all wkend & we have a meal out on Sunday with my folks for my dads birthday - fingers crossed I'll be ok to go!
Hi to all who follow.

Coco - happy birthday weekend - hope you have fun!
Gavi - enjoy your H!
Ducky - have a lovely weekend with your H x
Sue - glad you made it without being sick!
SaSaSi - hope you have a nice relaxed weekend!
AFM: made it into work without being sick in the car. Felt a bit better this morning when I first got up but now I'm feeling rough again. Think I'm over the worst of the cold but still blowing my nose every 5 seconds :(
Going up north this weekend to see my family - I would have liked to be at home with how dreadful I'm feeling but its the only weekend we can go up before my mum goes to NZ mid-feb so want to go up and tell her and my sister. Not telling everyone yet, just those two for now until 12 week scan. Not looking forwards to the car journey but at least I have sick bags! :/

Coco - enjoy your birthday weekend lucky lady!
Gavi - twinges are good, your muscles are stretching around in there.
Ducky - enjoy the reunion!
Sue - glad you made it home! That's an awful feeling I know!
SaSaSi - oh you poor thing. I hope it eases up so you can go out. Is it just mornings usually?
Browny - awww have fun telling your mum and sister. Hope the car journey is ok.
AFM just waiting for A to wake up so I can take him to nursery. He was supposed to go and nap there but he fell asleep early! Fingers crossed he wakes soon or else I'll have to wake him as I have my early scan today.

Good luck for your scan Saisi!
I am starting to worry as I haven't been sick at work today yet, usually sick several times a day! Also don't really feel nauseous either... :/
17/01/2014 at 13:11
Browny I think the symptoms come and go and your body definitely adjusts. I have been really worried as I've had next to no symptoms, with twins!! Only ever felt like 'hmm nah I don't really fancy that'
I'm sure it will bite me in the bum soon and I'll be sick as a dog!
Good luck Saisi!
17/01/2014 at 13:27
Browny - glad you made it to work without being sick! As Ducky said, they might just be coming and going. I'm sure the sickness will be back soon enough.
Saisi - hope the early scan goes well!
17/01/2014 at 13:53
I hope you're both right. I just want to really know everything is ok day-to-day by having morning sickness. I know its not guaranteed but it would just make me feel calmer. I'm hoping my NHS early scan comes through very soon!
17/01/2014 at 15:36
Browny - try not to fret & take each day as it comes, although thats difficult. Hell I had an early scan last friday, seen heartbeat etc and some days I still feel like doing a pregnancy test, despite all my symptoms! haha!
Saisi - let us know how your early scan goes! Unfortunately my sickness is not limited to morning - I have been sick in evenings as well :( Im not losing any weight though, probably cause all I can stomach is chips & chicken fillet burgers! lol

Happy Birthday Coco, I hope you have a lovely surprise.
Gavi - enjoy time with your H.
Ducky - hope your weekend with your H goes well too.
Sue - hopefully no traffic jams today. I hate trafffic!
Sasasi - enjoy the birthday meal for your dad.
Browny - its nice that you will tell your mum and sister - I bet they will be so pleased for you.My symptoms come and go too. No actual sickness at all yet, just a bit of quesyness here and there.
Saisi - how did the scan go?
Barefoot - saw your good news yesterday, glad they will monitor you closely now.
AFM - mad week at work as usual. I went climbing this week which was great. Symptom wise, pretty tired still but not as bad as earlier in the week and quite a bit of lower back pain. I seem to be back to my normal food portions which is good. Busy weekend planned - Chicargo tomorrow night (stage show) and then out with MIL sunday for her birthday. Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Enjoy your busy weekend Raincloud!
Just to say we've had the early scan and all was well, so relieved. I know all pregnancies are different but it's hard when you've had the one experience of puking daily and then with this one... nothing! But there s/he was, wriggling around on the screen with a good strong heartbeat. She reckons I'm 8+6 rather than 9+3, but I'll stick to my LMP dates until I've had the 12-week scan.
17/01/2014 at 17:26
PS hope this means a nice calm baby rather than the whirlwind monkey I had first!!
17/01/2014 at 17:48
Raincloud - enjoy Chicargo! I loved it!
Saisi - so glad to hear everything is ok! Lol re: calm baby - I hope not as that means mine will be a little monkey lol.
Well I definitely spoke too soon re: sickness. I must have been saving it all up as just before I left work I was violently sick. A lot. Lets hope this means my little blob is doing ok! :)
17/01/2014 at 19:23
Haha, I bet you've never been so pleased to throw up Browny!! Feel better soon pet x
Saisi - glad the scan went well :)

Hi all, late to this so no personals. Just back from work. Thanks again for everyone's support, it means loads. I have decided to work the next 2 days, then I have until 31st off work (leave and rest days) so I will let them know on the last rest day so they can't take them away from me. Going to ask for a meeting with the general manager and see what my options are. Babybump and are the priority, as you say.
Good luck for those with early scans coming up, and I'll catch up again after work tomorrow xx
