No thread yet this morning??
Nearly the end of the week, looking forward to the weekend. Was my day off yesterday and met up with a friend for lunch and drink which was lovely. Told her our news, she's the first friend I've told our first children are a similar age, and she already has a 2nd, so there was a lot of baby talk. I was also feeling the best I've felt for a couple of weeks yesterday, until it got to the evening - queasiness seems to get worse then. It's back again today as normal though so just a one of day I guess - having to run to school with C this morning probably didn't help!
Hope everyone else is ok x

Morning DD - so glad its Friday! Lovely that you told your friend :)
AFM: My scan this morning went well! They couldnt find a reason for the spotting, but baby was measuring spot on for dates, at just over 3cm. It looked so much more like a baby this time! I'm so relieved, and might actually start believing that this pregnancy might result in a baby!!!

Great news on your scan Browny! It seems most bleeds/spotting end up being unexplained. x

Deedee - sounds like a lovely day yesterday :)
Browny - fab news on your scan! :)
Bracken - Hi & welcome to first tri. Gosh I hope my nausea & sickness is long gone by then!
AFM - Was sick in work toilets this morning :( My OH was snoring really badly last night & is in a mood with me cause I kicked him to wake him & tell him to sleep on his side lol I dont feel bad about it, he is off today whereas I was up at 6am for work! So he can go & jump, he prob lay in bed until 11am!
Meeting 3 friends for lunch tomorrow and I am going to tell them as I prob wont see them all together until after we can announce our news and I dont want to hold back on that one tiny bit!
Hi to all who follow!

DD -how nice to share the news with a friend, and pleased you are feeling better (if only during the day)
Browny - congrats on scan! Must be such a relief - scan photo? My first scan looked like a jelly bean!
Bracken - hello!are you new to the first tri threads? Awards night sounds very glam- what type of awards?
Sasasi - how exciting to tell your friends!
AFM well I'm offifically 14 weeks today so I guess I better leave you girls and make my move to second tri.... I will keep an eye on the threads though and check in with you all!
Coco - for when you come, only a week today!!!

Where is everyone today?
Bracken - wow awards sounds very swanky! I know first tri goes so slow for most of us, can't imagine what it must be like for you!
SaSaSi - I would have done the same if my H was snoring! He shouldnt be mad at you! Enjoy telling your friends :)
CJ - we didnt get a picture this time! We forgot to ask tbh - should have at least taken a photo of the screen! But we were just so relieved everything was ok it didnt enter either of our heads! Doh! Have fun in second tri! :)
We're hopefully telling H's family tomorrow, depending on opportunity - we're moving my BIL and his gf but her parents will be there, plus my SIL isnt there and I'd rather she was if we did a big announcement. So we're thinking of going to H's parents early and telling them, not sure what we'll do about BIL and SIL though. They will be so excited as its their first grandchild, but they are very OTT and dont really understand boundaries. I'm worried they'll try and take over (not that I'd let them). I'm scared! x

Hi all, not in the mood for personals just yet since I've caught OH's lurgy. He is better as far as I am concerned, but still hasn't gone to work, and is moping round the house whining that he's tired and has a headache. Try being 3 months pregnant love! Also sulking because I've had to nag him to do things he said were already done, and then he decided to argue with me. Apparently me contacting travel agents about a holiday isn't sharing stuff. These agents that he said he would contact and hasn't, and most places we like are getting booked up. Argh. I know it's pregnancy hormones but I wish he would just go to work, or somewhere, and leave me alone. We never argue as a rule, so it's annoying me.
First 12 week scan tomorrow and I'm a bit scared. I get my genetics test results for Downs etc, and also we'll see if baby is squishing the fibroids or vice versa. I just want to be able to relax if this scan is fine, but with my issues I can't really relax for ages. Most mcs with fibroids are 12-20 weeks after all.
I'll try to cheer up and pop back later, otherwise here's wishing you a happy Friday xx

Raincloud - It's a big 3 bed semi with garage in the next town over from us. We're in an average 2 bed chalet bungalow at the mo and keen for more space, and an extra bedroom for the newbie! Sounds like you've had a productive day...anything you're fancying seeing at cinema? X
