Morning lladies I never manage to come on on work days but I was up before 5 today because of Hs cough....he is driving me mad with it. 4th night of interrupted sleep and that's before having to wee twice a night. 13 hour shift ahead of me will catch up on my breaks. Weekend is nearly here!

Duckford - hope you manage to rest soon. Don't envy your long shift.
Afm spd is killing me today already. Roll on physio next week. I'm not sleeping well. Too much going on in my head. My parents last day here so hopefully weather stays dry so we can do something. They've been a godsend this week. I'm going to really miss them. They live 500miles away.
Hi to all that follow x

Duckford - hope you're not too tired today, do you have a spare room you can tell your H to go sleep in?
Daisy - hope the weather stays nice, your parents live up in Scotland don't they?
AFM, supposed to be working today but phoned in sick. My backs killing me and I'm exhausted - struggle to keep my eyes open at work. Hoping to see the doc next week and get signed off for a bit.
Hope everyone is well

Ally - hope the gp helps. Yeah they live near Perth. Got my Scottish accent back this week ;)

Duckford - you were up early! Hope you have an easy shift, and can get some rest soon.
Daisy - I bet you'll miss them. Did you have SPD last time too! Hope D had a lovely birthday.
Ally - sounds tough, think you did the right thing calling in sick, hope you feel better soon, in the mean time try to take it easy (difficult with 2 LO's to look after though, I'm sure)
AFM - feeling a lot more movement now, although they're still twitchy ones, but given last time I didn't feel anything for another week or so I'm not complaining! Discussed names again last night and we're starting to find some common ground, even if it means me all but giving up on my favourite names. Fairly easy day at work today, or so I hope. H is out tonight so I get the evening to myself, I'm thinking of going to bed at 8.30... But will end up staying up to midnight watching tv knowing me.
18+0 - 2 weeks today until scan!

Yeah I had spd bad last time but this time I have a toddler who likes me to sit on the floor and play and can't just sit and rest.

Sent that reply too soon.
Nice to feel baby move BG. Hope you manage to agree on some names. Our biggest fights are about that still. H loves Jennifer but just not sure I can have Dawn and Jennifer together.

Morning Duckford, hope you manage to get some sleep tonight!
Daisy, ahh sorry you're in pain. That's lovely you've enjoyed seeing your parents and sucky they have to leave. Have a good last day with them
Ally, hope you manage to get some sleep and feel a little better later
BG, glad you're getting somewhere on the names. There's still lots of time for a new name to grow on you.
AFM - bad night's sleep here too. H was out drinking and I couldn't sleep til he was home, then got woken up at 6am by the cat. Have had lots of movement in the last 24 hours - more big rolling moves than kicky arms and legs. I'd love to know what position he's in! Tomorrow we're off to the zoo with my sister, BIL & niece. She wants to meet at 9am but not sure it'll happen. I need a lie in!

Duckford- hope you get to catch up on sleep and that your long shift isn't too bad.
Daisy- hope you can rest a bit with the spd. Hopefully the psyhio will be able to do something to help. It's always nice to have parents come visit from afar.
Ally- sounds like calling in sick was the right thing to do. If you struggle to stay awake there's no point being there.
Bg- yay for the movements! At least you are starting to agree on some of the name stuff. We talked about it couple of weeks ago and not gone back to it yet!
Not much to report baby is very wiggly this morning which is good after a few quieter days. Haircut then off to school to get a few bits done before Monday. Got to sort out the bootfair stuff for tomorrow, but if its raining I'm not doing it.

Morning pirate wife. Sounds like you've got a gymnast in there :). The big movements are lovely.. hope you have an easy day to make up for the bad nights sleep.

Have had to ring in sick for work today and am spending the day in bed. Had several dizzy spells yesterday evening and then collapsed on the floor (not that unusual for me as I have periodic paralysis but haven't had an episdoe since being pregnant). Was absolutely exhausted afterwards and the thought of having to get up at 0430 to go to work was just too much. Slept for 13 hrs and still feel a bit not quite right now. Am going to see how I am feeling by lunch time and may end up having to go to the drs i think. Fortunately am feeling lots of movement so Noodles seems unaffected.
I had lost track of how many weeks I am so was a bit surprised to work out I am 25+3 - which means less than 2 weeks until the third tri.

Hello! Busy thread already today!
Duckford - hope your day goes quickly.
Daisy - have a good last day with your parents
Ally - hope you feel better soon
BG - have a lovely evening to yourself!
PW - Hate it when I have a bad night's sleep - hope today goes quickly for you too!
Bunny - Enjoy the pampering having your haircut!
Jelly Baby - hope you feel better soon too!
AFM - scan day here - not until later this afternoon though, so will try to pop on to let you know how it went. Going out for a meal tonight with friends so looking forward to that!

Duckford, hope you can get a better night's sleep soon.
Daisy, sorry to hear your SPD is causing problems, hope the physio can help.
Ally, hope the doctor can sign you off.
BG, glad you and H are starting to find some names you agree on. I haven't even started that conversation with H yet, might try tonight as I have a few firm favourites.
PW, fingers crossed for a restful day for you.
Bunny, hope the rain holds off for tomorrow.
JB, sorry to hear you are ill too, hope the doctors can help out and glad Noodles seems unaffected.
AFM, not a lot to report today. Off to do the supermarket shop with the boys shortly - lots of bribery being used! Trimmed my baby blankets to the right size yesterday so may try to sew one this afternoon if the boys are occupied. Baby still nice and wriggly. H called a few minutes ago to check when baby is likely to be arriving as he needs to book holiday at work (not been there long enough for paternity leave) and it felt really odd telling him the rough date!
12/04/2013 at 09:24
Rhian, missed you there - hope the scan goes well, will keep an eye out for your update!
12/04/2013 at 09:27
Duckford - hope your shoft flies by!
Daisy/Ally - hope your both feeling better later.
BG - names are a pain, Ive managed to hold onto my favourite girls name after a lot of negotiation, but in that I lost out on the boys name to H!!
PW - I havent felt rolling movements yet, my H hasnt felt anything - I feel with my stupid placenta I'm loosing out on a lot :-( Have fun at the zoo!
Bunny - yay for wiggling! I have the opposite today!
JB - another one feeling poorly, make sure you go to the docs if you need to. DOnt say that about 3rd Tri, I'm only a day behind you and 3rd try is a scary though!
AFM - bean in quiet today after two active days, needs a poke! Had midwife appointment yesterday was ok, still dont click with her which is a shame. H thinks she's incompetant and wants to change, but Im not doing that, she's fine, just not our type of person I suppose. Cot arrives today, so that will be tonights challenge!
12/04/2013 at 09:38
Porkchop, I can't wait to get to 3rd tri. Means it is real then, but I'm impatient and I hate waiting for things. Also because I know my section date already it really is proper countdown then.
12/04/2013 at 09:51
I'm in two minds! We've still got so much to do in the house and so much to get, once the house is sorted I'll be ready!
12/04/2013 at 12:27
Sorry Margot, must have been posting at the same time! Hope you manage to get a blanket sorted. I've seen something similar I might try once work quietens down a bit!
12/04/2013 at 15:30
Jelly baby- hope your feeling better after resting and definitely go to the docs if you still don't feel right.
Rhian- hope the scan goes well, let us know how you get on. Are you finding out the sex?
Margot- that's good that your h is so organized. Hope you get some time to do some sewing.
Porkchop- shame about the midwife. You will have to give us a flash of the cot when it's built!
12/04/2013 at 17:04
Scan went well - all measuring fine! He was 98% sure that one is a boy and one is a girl!
