Finally this week I have found time to write a post- hurrah! Hope you are all having good weeks and are looking forward to a sunny weekend.
All is well with me and baby- I'm pretty sure I can feel flutters and bubbles which I think is the baby although I'm not entirely sure. Very exciting if this is the case!
I'm off to play dinosaur crazy golf after work with some friends from work which will be fun.
Hi to all that follow and I will really try to get back on later today x

Peachy - how exciting to feel flutters, I'm hoping this isn't far off for me now. Enjoy crazy golf
AFM - I'm 16 weeks today and all seems good. So pleased its Friday, I actually have a quiet weekend for once so looking forward to going out and enjoying the weather.
Enjoy Friday all xx

Peachy I would say its baby! Have fun at crazy golf.
Mrs l 16 weeks already?! That's going quick. A quiet weekend Is lovely to look forward to.
Not much to report here, just under 2 weeks until my 20 week scan so on a countdown to that really.

Eeekk bunny 2 weeks, so exciting! I have midwife next Friday, do you think they will let me hear the heart beat if I ask?

Morning ladies xx
Peachy, how exciting you're feeling movements. I had nothing until 21 weeks. Hope the weather holds for your golf this evening, sounds fun!
MrsL, enjoy the sunshine :-). I think my mw listened to baby's heart at 16 weeks without me even asking. Fingers crossed x
Bunny, have a good weekend :-)
AFM, seems it's my last day in 2nd tri which is scary! Bump is feeling huge, and although movements aren't that strong, heartbeat on Doppler is great (mw happy for me to use it to check since I'm a medical professional and know what I'm looking for) and all seems well. Nervous about seeing the consultant at the new hospital on Monday, but plan a good weekend first. Need to pick hubby up from the rugby late tonight (ugh) but then we're off to the Baby Show tomorrow, and rock climbing in the Peak District on Sunday. Will be lovely to get out and about :-)
Hi to all who follow, hope you also have a great weekend, and if I don't get back, see you in 3rd tri soon xx

Hope you are all feeling ok and have a great weekend.
My hormones are driving me crazy - I am in such a bad mood and EVERYONE is driving me mad! Bump seems very low and it is hurting - stretching probably. Anyway - good news is that after 15!! midwives telling me they could'nt look after me after the birth, one callled yesterday and agreed to come and visit net week to see if we get on and to ''officially'' reserve her!!!! Was having nightmares about having a c-section and having tto get to the docctors surgery to have my wound checked and the baby weighed/belly button checked

peachy - lovely to hear baby is moving, it is an amazing feeling :)
Mrs L - happy 16 weeks, enjoy the sunshine!
Bunny - it'll go fast! You're finding out the flavour, aren't you?
BF- good luck in 3rd Tri
Sue - hope you feel better soon
AFM - not much to report really, baby is moving more and more and I look properly pregnant, which I am quite enjoying. Still no clarity on the job front (blah) but the sun is shining and I have a nice weekend planned, seeing friends and a lovely MDers baby shower :)
Happy Friday everyone x

Mrs l I would've thought so. I know it can vary from area to area but I think most listen for it. I hope they do for you!
Barefoot enjoy your weekend and the baby show. See you in 3rd tri!!
Sue why we're you having so much trouble with midwives? Isn't there a community one who would be automatically assigned to you?
Gavi yes we are finding out although I won't be disappointed if baby's not playing ball I just want to know it's all ok! That's great that baby's moving more and that does sound like a lovely weekend! Enjoy it with the sunshine!

Hi Bunny, I'm living in Germany and its a different system. You can either get a midwife to look after you throughout your pregnancy - during the birth at the hospital and afterwards OR, look for one to come and check you and the baby out once you are home from hospital. On health insurance you are entitled to 12 wweeks - its a brll system but too little midwives available. ,)

Peachy: Hope the bubbles & flutters become more pronounced & more like kicks, enjoy the crazy golf later
MrsL: Hurrah for a quiet weekend, enjoy the sunshine. I heard the heartbeat at mine this week so hopefully you will be able to hear yours at your appointment but I know different areas do things differently
BF: Good luck in 3rd tri & enjoy your busy weekend. I love my doppler too, very reassuring
Gavi: enjoy your busy weekend & it's lovely to hear you've got nice movements going on (you know what I mean!!)
Sue: Sorry to hear your hormones are playing you up
Bunny: Not long till your scan, hope behaves for it!
AFM: My 1st day out in the sun today & I managed to get burnt! Whoops. ~Other than babywise all is still the same, still going very slowly & still tired!
Hope you all have a nice weekend & don't forget the suncream ladies!!
