    PM

    Morning all

Last day of work for me before a 2 week half term,  cant wait! !! So much to do today though.

Not muxh happening pregnancy wise to be honest.  Flu jab yesterday so my arm is sore but so far it hasn't reacted badly like last time.  the flickers of movements are getting slightly more regular which is nice.

Hope you all have lovely Fridays

    Morning AR

Yay to two weeks off! Glad flu jab went ok and you are feeling more movements

I too am glad its Friday :) it's our wedding anniversary today, so making a special meal for H tonight then tomorrow night we are going for dinner then to the theatre to see the Lion King, I'm so excited! Saw it once years ago in London and loved it. A couple of childfree hours will be lovely too

Had pregnancy yoga last night which was nice . Think I'm starting to feel kicks at long last!

Hope everyone else is doing well, have a good day!

    Friday!

AR glad the flu jab didn't wreak as much havoc. I was pleased with mine, it was just sore locally when I tried to lay on it for 2 or 3 nights. You're going to love (and need) that half term! Funnily you say the movements are more regular but mine are more erratic! Used to be every evening and now it's all over the show and sometimes I can go almost a day without anything.

Happy Anniversary Weekender, sounds like a lovely weekend for you. And the kicks are good news, you've been waiting for that. Yay!

I'm capping my hours at 50 this week. Finished or not I am leaving here at lunchtime and letting the team have a few hours without me whilst I go for a cream tea and a movie with my lovely husband. We're spending the whole weekend together which is rare, and trying not to make any plans to see anyone or be anywhere as we've much house stuff to plough through. I didn't think I could go off for the weekend without meeting deadlines but they're self-imposed and we've done so well that Monday will be fine and I'll come back recharged and focused (instead of frazzled lol). Happy Friday to all that come after :)

    Morning!

AR great news about the jab! Schools here all go back on Monday - its funny how its so different across the country!

WE - happy anniversary!! Sounds like a fab weekend planned! I LOVE the lion king! Yay to more baby movements!

Counter - well done on getting out the office at lunchtime! You'll get so much more done in the next two days for having had a relaxing time later today. Remember - beautiful, practical or sentimental!!! And no, you "might not need it one day" lol!

AFM still in bed!! Day off today as going to the good food show later. I'm going to the Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood demo! Excited!! Went to a Goo Goo Dolls gig last night which was fab - baby clearly enjoyed it as was kicking along with the songs :)

    Have a great day!

    PM

    Morning all

Haven't managed to get on here for a while. It always seems to be the evening when I get on.

AR- yeah to half term! I finished for the 2 weeks yesterday! Lovely to be feeling movements more.

W- happy Wedding Anniversary. Enjoy your meal.

Counter- Cream tea and movie sounds fab! Enjoy your weekend

AFM- not a lot to report really. I finally told work yesterday....at 16 weeks! I couldn't pin down the head to tell him, other than in corridors and that wasn't appropriate. A good job  as I don't think I could hide my bump anymore. I am having my hair done this morning. My roots are looking awful. Unfortunately I will have both boys with me. I normally ask my dad to come up and watch them (hairdresser is literally around the corner) but he is still in Oz. So it won't be the normal restful 2 hours I get in there! Part of the reason I am getting my hair done is I am off to a uni reunion in Manchester this weekend. So that should be good. Dad is back from Oz on Monday morning, so will need to pick him up from Heathrow at around 7am. I then have my consultant's appointment at 2pm. She changed her clinic to an afternoon one and I now have to worry about school runs and pre school pick ups. Hopefully I will get it sorted.

AR - so jealous, I could really do with two weeks off right now! Hope you manage to get everything done.

Happy anniversary weekender! Sounds like you have a lovely evening planned, enjoy the Lion King. I still haven't got round to seeing it but everyone raves about it...maybe I'll drop hints to my H for my birthday next month (although pretty sure he'd hate it!)

Counter - such a long week. Make sure you do definitely finish at lunchtime! What film are you going to see? Sounds like a much needed afternoon treat.

SP -glad you enjoyed last night. I love Mary Berry!

S4 - another one to make me jealous with 2 weeks off! How did your head take the news? Hope the boys behave at the hairdressers!

AFM I'm so glad it's Friday! Have a lunch today at work so don't imagine I'll get much done. Team lunches usually end up quite boozy so this will be the first sober one for me. Glad it's all out in the open and I don't have to lie to them all! Quiet weekend planned, only plan so far is to look at some wardrobes as after 2 years in this house all our clothes are still on rails in our bedroom and we need to sort out the storage!

Pregnancy wise just more aches around my stomach. Been sleeping better for the last few days but I still feel really tired. Wondering if it's worth mentioning to the midwife at my appointment next week or is it normal? I just constantly feel like a could nap, probably more so than during first tri. Thought I was meant to have more energy now.

    PM

Morning ladies, hope you are all well.

AR - 2 weeks off sounds amazing. Very jealous!

Weekender - happy anniversary! I loved the lion king too. Hope you have a wonderful anniversary weekend.

Counter - good for you capping your hours. Hope you enjoy your rest and time with the hubby.

Sweetpea - that's cute the baby was kicking along with the band. Maybe they'll like the goo goo dolls when they're born. Enjoy the food show.

Section - enjoy the uni reunion.

Flossy - I had a period of a couple of weeks where I felt more normal but now I'm just as tired as first Tri. I've heard it gets worse too in third Tri :( enjoy your work lunch.

Mrs V - that's great H felt the baby. Have a fab weekend away.

Afm - I've been rubbish at coming on here this week. Work is so busy that I don't get a chance during the day. Need to get my priorities straight :) I confirmed my mat leave with hr yesterday so I leave work in jan and don't go back until November. Yey I think as I am still a bit nervous about being away from work for so long. Had some good news that my H gets full pay whilst on paternity leave so we are going to take advantage of that. Shows how tight my company is really. Not too much planned for the weekend. Going to rearrange the bedroom ready for the cot and finally buy something. We've decided on our car seat so will order that.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Sweetpea- Glad you had a good time last night. Enjoy your day off, sounds like a fun day ahead!

Section 4- Uni reunion sounds fun. i left my roots until I was 12 weeks I had was desperate to get them done by then. Bet your glad to finally tell work.

Flossy- Enjoy your team lunch. i too have been rather tired in second tri, think its normal but mention if your concerned.

Mrs V- Enjoy your weekend away.Wow seeing your baby move, how cool. Must be nice for your H to feel.

LD- bet it feels good to sort out maternity. i have been thinking about mine. Bonus that h gets full pay. Enjoy buying some bits.

AFM- Well saw Micky Flanagan last night which was really funny. So tired though towards the end and didnt get home until midnight. Had a rubbish sheep and come into work late...wooops. Feeling really emotional today, think my hormones are everywhere as I have been a bit hard on H. How early did you all feel little movements? Im sure I have felt the baby a tiny bit on and off.

Had a text from my brother today, my sis in law in due end of December and her waters broke last night! Just waiting for an update but at the moment they are monitoring her and giving steriods. Both seem to be doing ok so far.

If this doesn't work he's having his left leg amputated from the knee. If there was ever a reason not to smoke....
