    PM

    Morning all!

Couldn't see a thread for today so thought I'd start one.

Hope everyone is feeling OK and looking forward to the weekend! I met some friends for dinner last night and didn't get home until gone midnight. When I got home I found a drunk H waiting for me. Since being pregnant I find it really hard to cope with drunk people, I have no patience! Luckily he pretty much passed out as soon as I got home, but he was a pain to drag out of bed today and he's currently sat next to me on the train suffering & feeling sorry for himself and I have no sympathy for him!

Nothing much to report here pregnancy wise. My back has been sore the last couple of days which I think might be down to bigger boobs. I need to go and get measured as I noticed at the weekend I'm spilling out of my bra! I don't want to spend much as I'm sure they won't last long, I usually go to Bravissimo but don't fancy their prices. Still counting down to our 20-week scan...

Oh Flossy! At least hubby was subdued when you got in, or it would have been worse for you. Was it a nice evening out? A late one on a schoolnight, lol.

I got in from work at 7.30pm and was in bed at 8.45pm! My get up and go has just... gone. But it's okay. I'm essentially well so the tiredness I can live with. It's the ladies that are doing it with busy toddlers and infants I feel sorry for! I'm treating the team at work to pizza today because they reached a tough target for me, so looking forward to 2 things: lunch first, and bed later on.

Hope everyone is doing really well!

    Morning

Flossy - I hope your H is suffering today ;-)

Counter- tiredness in pregnancy is a killer. I have 3 kids (6,3 and 20 months) so am always tired!

AFM - not a lot to report. Kids had fun yesterday. We went to my cousin's during the day for lunch and then to some friends for a Halloween tea. Kids loved dressing up and playing games. Off to visit an aunt today. Baby wise not a lot to report. This is a very quiet baby and I am not feeling a lot yet. Will probably be giving outin a few weeks when utis kicking me all day. 2 weeks until our 20 week scan now

    Morning ladies,

Flossy, hope your H is suffering! Hopw you aren't tired after your late night, good luck on the bra hunt

Counter, mmm pizza! Love pizza, especially pepperoni yum. Dif you approach your management team about mat pay yet?

Section4, I'm knackered with one child. I dont know how you manage with three! Enjoy visiting your aunt x

Bertie, yay for Friday! Enjoy your weekend, especially the teeny baby cuddles! Is he doing ok?

I'm off work today, yippee! Dropped M at nursery, and went and bought a housewarming gift as we are going to a housewarming tomorrow night. Booked a slot for santas grotto while I was there but now thinking I picked a silly day as we already have stuff planned that day. Oh well! Just getting ready then heading to Glasgow to meet a friend forunch, then heading to my mum's after, going for dinner and to see Grease at the theatre with some friends - good job I'm eating for two with two meals out in one day! Tomorrow H is taking M for her flu jab then coming down to my mum's, well take Mto the fireworks display then my mum us babysittinv so we can go to party. Of all of it though I'm most looking forward to a lie in tomorrow morning!

Pregnancy wise, lots of kicks and wriggles, no aches apart from my arm where I had flu jab, so no complaints! Did get iron tablets mind you, but I expected that.

Right I better get moving. Enjoy your days all x

Hi W/E, I haven't spoken to my boss. I am part of the SMT so there's nowhere to go but the Chairman/Owner who I report in to, which is sort of part of the problem. It's getting pressing because boss and I need to agree the '14 head office budget, and that includes my cover! I'm not normally shy of negotiation but things are hard in the business and, not to put too fine a point on it, we might all be made redundant by Christmas anyway (though it's been like this on and off for 1.5 years), so my leave next April sort of doesn't seem a priority when it's all kicking off lol! (I'd love to know though, am finding it hard to envisage next year/child care options etc)

    Happy Friday all,

Flossy - How long until your 20 weeks scan? That's funny that your H is suffering. I hate it when people ask me how I am coping without drinking when it really doesn't bother me but I can be extra smug when they all feel rubbish the next day.

Counter - Mmm pizza. Sounds like really difficult timing with your work to discuss leave etc. I was told by a colleague the other day that I couldn't be going on mat leave at a worse time! Nice and supportive!

S4 - Halloween tea sounds nice. I'm struggling with tiredness and I have no kids, let alone 3.

Bertie - That's lovely that you're meeting your newphew. How is he doing? Is he still in hospital?

    CC - Enjoy pram shopping.

Weekender - Enjoy the party and more importantly the lie in :)

AFM - My sister in law and her boys are coming down from Sheffield to stay tonight which will be nice. We live in a one bed flat so it'll be nice and cosy. I'm looking forward to seeing a bonfire and fireworks tomorrow night. Nothing to report babywise. I can't believe it's already November, it feels like this pregnancy is flying by.

LD- He is doing really good thank you :) they are suprised he didnt catch the infection his mum had. He is in the special care ward, had a bit of a palava as he had to get transferred for a while as the hospital didnt have the means to look after him but he is back in the original hospital now.

Sounds lovely, getting all cosey together. Enjoy the fireworks tomorrow, I cant wait to go, i always love bonfire night.

Afternoon everyone, once again I'm so glad its Friday :)

Flossy - I totally feel the same about drunk people, H had wine last night when we went out and he was a bit tipsy and singing on the way home and I found it annoying!

Counter - I don't envy you having to work these long hours, I hope it quietens down for you soon.

Section4 - Not long until your scan now, are you finding out the sex?

Bertie - I hope your friends baby is doing well? Enjoy the fireworks.

CC - Prams are a minefield aren't they? Hope you manage to find one that is suitable for you.

WE - Enjoy your day off, sounds like it will be a busy day with lots of nice food :)

LD - It does sound cosy :) Hope the weather is ok for the fireworks and glad your pregnancy is going fast for you.

AFM - Looking forward to the weekend. Haven't got too much planned but might meet a friend for coffee tomorrow then hopefully fireworks tomorrow night weather permitting. Really need to do some housework too.

Baby wise, lots of movements now and H felt him again last night which was nice. Need to start looking at next baby purchases and my bonus from work this month should come in handy!

Counter, you sound like a lovely boss! I could definitely eat a pizza...can I come and work in your team?! Hope all the mat pay problems work out, I can imagine it probably never seems the right time to approach them, it took me ages to even tell my boss I'm pregnant!

S4 - I have no idea how you manage pregnancy with 3 kids! Do you ever get any time to yourself or is there always something that needs doing/someone who needs attention?

CC - H has commented on the size of my boobs several times, and then someone at work did yesterday too so it's obviously getting noticeable! Pram shopping is exciting-what are you looking at?

Bertie - glad your little nephew is doing well, 30 weeks must be tiny. Enjoy meeting him!

Weekender - sounds like a hectic weekend! Enjoy the show & fireworks and all the yummy food!

LD I know, how did it get to November already?! My scan is 13th Nov, so hopefully it'll come round quickly - my boss is away next week so it'll be a quiet work week and then we have a wedding at the weekend so should be nicely distracted until it comes around. Sounds like you have a houseful this weekend!

H is definitely suffering, I'm feeling pretty smug as I can't even remember my last hangover! I do miss a nice glass of wine though, had a sneaky tiny glass last weekend with my dinner and it was amazing. Think I'll definitely appreciate it more once the baby is here!
