    Morning AR,

Yay for V day! Glad you have had such a nice time, I love CP, trying to work out if we can afford to go in the summer. May just have to make it happen!

All good here, tired but half a day of work left to go. Going to get my nails done after work then got some cleaning to do, then Ms got a party from 4-6pm. Went to Sainsbury last night they have loads of clothes reduced, I got two packs of sleepsuits with built in scratch mitts reduced to £6.50 each for 3, plus 5 vests for £3, baby boys wardrobe is officially started! Felt weird buying boys things, and baby things at that!  Had s dilemma about what size to buy as M was a really long baby (58 cms) so newborn stuff was too short for her, so I've gone for 0-3 thinking I can buy newborn ones nearer the time and can always return them if they are too small.

Hope everyone is doing well xx

    Morning ladies,

AR sorry it's nearly time to go but what a fab way to kick off the festive season and lovely to be at 24 :)

ABC sorry you're poorly. I have found colds a real nuisance while preggo. Never normally have a problem but they seem to hit harder, or is that just me? Glad you're on half day :)

We'll not get out at lunch though the rest of the building will. We'll bank a half day for next year though, usually apparently accounts just work all day and get nowt for it and everyone else clocks off at 12.30! Makes me cross. Only one more day of being feisty ha ha. Work Xmas do tonight but don't really want to go. We were all looking forward to going but some prat has put together an ill thought out seating plan and we're mixed up with people who are generally arses, one person has dropped out. I'll see. Thing is, anything I do, anywhere I go with hubby I have fun, but I was looking forward to him getting to know the team better and we all get on so well.... Still, the restaurant at the hotel is 4 star so if nothing else the food should be decent!

Yes. We're doing the 'Xmas shop' this weekend. Hubby loves it, I HATE it, so I can clothes shop instead yay! No, we don't know. Super keen for a boy, for we'll just have to see! :) it wouldn't be healthy for me to know, I'd have named, dressed, and predicted everything about the baby, I'm a very impatient person and my mind would have been racing for 20 weeks. The mystery is lovely :)

    Morning!

AR - enjoy your last day. Sounds like you've had a lovely break. I was like that with names the other night, found one I liked, told H in the morning and straight away he didn't like it. Men!

ABC - hope the day goes quickly for you and you feel better tomorrow. Everyone always raves about the Lion King but I've still not got round to seeing it.

Weekender - my Sainsburys is rubbish for clothes. Probably a good thing as otherwise things would end up in my trolley every week! I did but a neutral sleepsuit in there after the 12 week scan, maybe I should give it another try.

Counter - enjoy your Christmas party. A seating plan is a silly idea, everyone wants to sit with their friends and enjoy themselves.

I have a midwife appointment this morning so working from home today. Good job too as H came in at 2am and although he was pretty quiet it woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep for ages. Seeing a new midwife today, so hoping she might be a bit better than the last one I met! Seeing some friends tonight...I considered cancelling but H has convinced me not too. Still feeling pretty anti social at the moment.

    Morning,

AR- happy V day! That will be me tomorrow! Glad you had a lovely break.

ABC- Hope the cold goes away! Lion King sounds great, enjoy! 2nd tri seems to be flying by for me too.

Weekender- Oh thats a good deal! I love buying clothes, Our little girl has a box full already! I am terrible! I got a few new born and first size, a few up to 1 month and then up to 3. So I have covered all bases!Enjoy getting your nails done :)

Counter- We had a seating plan at ours yday, I hate them but it did work ok. Hope you have a good time if you do go. That's not fair that accounts stay longer than everyone else!

Flossy- Hope the midwife goes well. I find it hard to nod back off once I have woken up for a wee etc. Enjo seeing some friends, may be just what you need to make you feel a bit more sociable.

AFM- had works xmas meal yesterday. Everyone got rather drunk and as we had to get a taxi back which took over an hour then i had to drive home from the poffice I didnt get in until 10, I was shattered! It wasnt too bad being the only sober one as they were all quite funny but I was so ired and would have left much earlier if i could have. Had lots of kicks when i got back to H so we layed in bed feeling my tummy. Off for late shopping tonight to get some new clothes, yay. Last day of work for me until New year, so glad for a break. Scary to think that after xmas I will only have 8 weeks of work!

    Morning

AR- enjoy your last day there. Well done on getting to V day!

ABC- hope the cold isn't too bad. Enjoy Lion King tomorrow

Weekender- sounds like some great bargains from Sainsburys there.

Counter- hope your works do isn't too bad!

Flossy- hope the MW appointment goes well

Bertie- Hope today goes quickly for you and that you have fun shopping. After Christmas I only have 8 days to work...only work one day a week!

AFM- had MW appointment yesterday. Everything generally OK, although my BP was low 98/68. So the opposite to looking for high BP with pre eclampsia! I am on weekly BP checks, as requested my my consultant. So back to the nurse at the Dr next Friday. A finishes school at 2 today. So think I will have a day in the house until then. We are off to the panto with the 2 older ones tomorrow.

I actually feel fine! However I have to keep an eye out on certain symptoms. Following my Doppler I am high risk of pre eclampsia again and as I had it severely in my first pregnancy, resulting in a prem delivery, I have to watch my BP. it just makes the pregnancy not 'enjoyable' you are always on the look out

    Wow you've all been busy,

AR- Glad you enjoyed your break

    ABC- Enjoy th Lion King

WE- I'm doing the same although I've had some newborn clothes given to me

Counter- That's rubbish I'd have an office party if I had to stay

Flossy- Hope you like your new MW

    Bertie- Enjoy your time off

S4- I was just about to say your low BP looks good as I seemed to remember you had pre-eclampsia before -then I saw your second post about your previous birth. Hopefully it's a really good sign

AFM- I'm 28 weeks today!! I can't believe I've got here. Had a physio appt this morning and got over excited telling her, I think she thought I was bonkers but I'm really excited the 3rd Trimester seems like a massive milestone

Well, I'm due April 8th. Start mat leave April 7th. So 13 weeks. Gah. But it will FLY. And we've lots to do, at home and at work, and I've a feeling I am going to need to work at least a couple of days a week at home at the end... laptop on lap, dog laying against me under the duvet, iPod and as much food and drink as I can wish for. It's gonna be tough  ;)

Counter, I counted my weeks left and it didn't sound great. So I then I just counted 'full' weeks and got rid of quite a few by assuming midwife appointments=work from home days plus a couple of things I have planned. That got it into single figures and I felt much better.

I also have my maternity cover at work sorted which is a nice relief!

Midwife was good. Running late so she was in a massive rush and didn't really feel like she had time for me. Fortunately everything seemed good, she had a sneaky measure and without me prompting her told me to ignore people who say anything about my bump size as it's absolutely fine but because I'm only little it looks big! The baby was really active and the midwife was saying she could hear her kicks on the dopple. All the prodding must have disturbed her as since I got home she's been wriggling like mad. Next appointment is my anti D in Jan which I'm not really looking forward to and I'm taking mum with me to hold me hand!
