Morning! Where is everyone today?
Not a lot to report. Bean had a quiet day yesterday so hopefully he or she will wake up a bit today! Think this will be my last day on here, off on hols at the weekend, then will be nearly 29 weeks when I get back so off to 3rd tri! Eeeek! See some of you over there soon.

PC - eek, 3rd Tri! Have a fab holiday x
Twink - what a bargain! Def worth it to avoid having to paint one!
AFM - scan in less than an hour, holy crap!
Last night's work function went well, 'bumped' into a lot of old colleagues and peers, was on the 10.40 train home and shattered. I used to be running to catch the last train from this do.
BG - the big 2 0!

PC - have a great holiday
Twink - bargain hunter!!! That really good. Well done.
BG - I look forward to an update later. Good luck xx
AFM - I had my consultant appt on weds. I dont know if anyone saw my update, but She just wanted to let me know that I have options regarding giving birth. Because of the 4th degree tear I suffered and also because I had surgery in January for a cyst on my ovary which resulted in my left Fallopian tube being removed. It's entirely up to me and my decision whether to give birth naturally or have an ELCS.
Apart from that. I'm all good!
Poppy. 18+5 x

Porkchop, have a fab holiday and see you on 3rd tri in a few weeks.
Twink, what a great bargain!
BG, good luck for your scan, will be looking out for your update x
Poppyseeds, I didn't see your update but how good to know that your options are open - do you have a particular leaning one way or the other?
AFM, all good here, had a good night's sleep until Jacob fell out of bed at about 5am - despite the bed guard, he fell out of the bottom end! Need to meal plan and then go and do the supermarket shop, and that's about it for today as it wipes me out nowadays. Glad it's the weekend!
26/04/2013 at 09:46
Poor jacob - hope he is ok? I need to meal plan as well - thank you for reminding me!
I am more inclined to say I will have an ELCS due to the tear and the fact that I am only feeling 'normal' in my lady bits now, and L is 4 years old!
26/04/2013 at 09:48
PC-have a lovely holiday, see you over on the 3rd tri thread soon
Twink- what a bargain on the cot bed!
BG-good luck with the scan, make sure you update us later
Poppyseeds-sounds like a positive consultant appt
Margot-do you find meal planning keeps the shopping bill down, I was thinking about trying it?
AFM- 22+2 just plodding along, its starting to go slow now
26/04/2013 at 09:52
PS, yes he's fine, he just gave himself a shock. My ELCS with Jacob was a fab experience and I'm having another this time so any questions, just shout.
Noodle, yes, it definitely helps and it's so much more convenient to know what you need to cook each night. It also stops me doing top up shops in the week as it means we have everything we need for the week ahead.
26/04/2013 at 09:55
PC - have a lovely holiday!
twink - that's a couple of brilliant bargains you've nabbed there, well done.
BG - good luck for your scan, hope the little one is behaving and you get to find out the sex.
PS - good that your consultant is letting you keep your options open x
Margot - oh dear, is Jacob alright? Poor thing x
AFM - had a mad couple of hours last night where I did loads of housework when I got home from work, most unlike me! Think my nesting instinct is kicking in. H and I agreed to spend all weekend sorting out the upstairs so that the room we are going to use for the nursery will be ready to start decorating soon, so that's most of my weekend gone!
26/04/2013 at 09:58
Oops missed a couple...
Margot - glad he's ok
Noodle - things feel quite slow for me as well, there is a lot of waiting in this pregnancy lark! I also do meal planning and, like Margot, it does make a difference in the weekly shopping bill and I am a massive fan of not having to nip to Tesco/Sainsbury's on the way home from work, it cuts all of that out.

morning all, Ive done a thread for my 20 week scan, our baby is beautiful (im so biased)

Margot - poor jacob hope he is ok.
BG - Cant wait to see how your scan goes
Noodle - I think it is going quick but Im a couple of weeks behind you hehe
Popcorn - I was like that yesterday, looking at redecorating and all sorts [rofl]
Hi to all who follow x
26/04/2013 at 11:13
Hi all, quick update, scan was all good, sonographer was lovely and we *only* had to wait for 45 minutes in the waiting room before our appointment.
It's a girl! think it's going to take me a little while to get my head around tbh.
26/04/2013 at 11:30
Glad all is well BG. You have plenty of time to get used to it!
26/04/2013 at 11:32
hehehehehehe september is shaping up rather pink!
26/04/2013 at 11:33
BG - yay for a girl! It'll be nice to have one of each!
26/04/2013 at 11:39
have a fab holiday pork chop! See you in 3rd tri in a few weeks!!
twink, bargainous cot bed, ours was ebay for about the same!
BG, it's funny how you get used to being tired all the time and before you know it you're an early to bed person! A girl!! ooh, lovely!!!! Congrats!!
Poppy, I think i'd lean towards ECS myself, I've never heard of anyone having a 4th degree tear, ouch!!!
margot, does jacob move about rather a lot then!!??
noodle, i know the feeling! In a way it's bad to want to rush it, but it's hard when you just want to meet your little person!
popcorn, hoorah to getting started ont he nursery!!
Luna, saw your pic, it's lovely!!
AFM, was funny to see snitchits BA with Florence written on it! First once i've seen since we decided on Florence (if it's a girl). Still love it though (although still prefer Flora but hubs is still very NO about it!) Still no boys name though!

Porkchop – hope bean perks up for you today and you have a great holiday! Good luck over in the scary 3rd tri, though I guess by the time you’re back it won’t be long before I’ll be joining you there. *eeep!*
Twink – that sounds a great bargain, will be nice for little twinklet to have her own bed at your mums too.
Bridget – oooh, yay for scan going well and a little girl! You’ve got some time to get used to the idea and I think one of each, sounds brilliant!
Poppy Seeds – sorry, I missed your update, but it’s good to know you have options there. Just have to start thinking about them now, I guess.
Margot – glad you got a good night sleep until then anyway. That’s some impressive work by Jacob. Glad he’s ok. It amazes me what kids get up to in their sleep. Our plans for the day sound very similar! I always plan our meals out before shopping too.
Noodle – I find the midwife appointments help me keep track of where I am and little exciting achievements reaching them all.
Popcorn – sounds like you have a busy weekend but it will be worth it to be able to start to prepare the nursery.
Luna – yay for another beautiful baby!
Pombear – Florence is a lovely name. We still only have a list of 10 for each, which I think H would be quite happy to leave it at that. But I’ve told him we need to have a shorter shortlist than that!
AFM – H decided to organise all his bits and pieces from the office yesterday, so even with it just being a bit clearer, I’m so much happier again with it. Hoping to get the little bits of decoration up that we can do this weekend and maybe buy some more of our last little bits! I also NEED to have another bra fitting, my current bra is rubbish now… But I’ve been putting it off and I don’t think I can anymore. Baby has been fidgeting about loads and I even felt them higher up yesterday which with my anterior placenta I’ve never done before, so that was weird!

BG glad you little lady is all perfect. hopefully you'll get used to pink :)
26/04/2013 at 12:15
BG, glad all is well and yay for a girl - you can join me on the 'What on earth to do with a pink one!' bench ;-)
