plug has been coming away all day yesterday, but nothing else has happened. went for a good long walk last night, but still baby remains reluctant to shift. I've really had enough of this.
Hope all is well with Lamby and baby out vibes to Bexy and anyone else who needs them!!

Morning RKB, hope today is the day things get going for you, lots of baby out vibes.
Baby out vibes to Lamby and Bexy too x
AFM, sent apologies for last night's meeting, which went on from 6.30 until well beyond 9 so I'm glad I did - wouldn't have been able to keep my eyes open that long! Quiet day today, sueprmarket shop and Joshua's swimming lesson after school, and H is out for the day and evening so I have peace once the boys are in bed. We're off to Devon on Sunday, to my parents' caravan near Woolacombe so hoping for some good weather.
Baby is super wriggly which is nice, but this is definitely the last baby here - this pregnancy is proving so much harder than my last two, I think a fourth would finish me off!

Morning Margot! Hope the weather is good for your holiday! Sounds fab! Enjoy your quiet H free day and evening!
24/05/2013 at 08:03
RKB - really hope things get moving for you soon lovely. Do some bouncing and drink lots of raspberry tea, not that I'm sure you havent already!
Margot - if you could bring some good weather down here that would be good! Not been too bad this week, super windy though, and I think the forecast for next week is okish.
AFM - I am super fed up! Had a major meltdown on H last night. Sciatica is so bad I cant do anything. I sit on my bum all night while H is doing all the DIY and working hard, makes me feel useless :-( I also have major girl name issues, H really loves a particular one, and I like, but I dont love it, in fact I dont love any names Ive come across so I dont know what to do about that. If we have a girl I dont want her to be Baby porkchop for days!! On the plus side its friday!
RKB i cant believe that baby hasnt made its escape yet!! Baby out vibes. Make some cakes - me and 2 friends did this and went into labour next day!! Must me the cake smell enticing then out!!
24/05/2013 at 08:07
Porkchop - how rotten for you with the sciatica, but don't feel bad about not helping your H, if you can't you can't. You've still got plenty of time to come up with a girl's name, is it worth looking at the baby name boards on some other forums for ideas? Glad the forecast for next week is promising, I don't mind cold but would rather avoid wet.

Will come back later. You are being my source of entertainment at the hospital today. I have scan at 10 but then need to wait for consultant at 12.30!
24/05/2013 at 08:16
RKB - That's a good sign, hopefully things start moving today!
Margot - Have a nice quiet day and enjoy your holiday. Well done for doing this 3 times, I'm on my 1st and don't ever want to do it again! I've had a pretty straight forward pregnancy too.
PC - Rubbish about the sciatica, hope someone can do something to try and relieve it for you. I have girls name issues too, we have a list we both think are ok but nothing really jumps out at us.
MM - Hi
Rusty - Morning, good luck for the scan
AFM - I'm feeling really sorry for myself this week. Having a miserable time in France and to top that off I've started feeling sick today. Hoping that's not the return on 1st tri sickness that I've heard about. Last night my bump felt funny at the top (about a few inches under my boobs), it kind of felt like a constant but light electric shock. Is that braxton hicks? I googled it and then started to worry it was pre-eclampsia! I should know better than to use google as a dr! he he! Going home 1st thing tomorrow morning and I can't wait!
Hope you all have a good day!
24/05/2013 at 08:32
Margot - I think I'm just not gonna try and think about it for a few weeks, its doing my head in!!
24/05/2013 at 08:34
TT - awww least its Friday and you can head home :-) I get lots of pushes, rather than kicks from baby at the top of my bump could it be that? Like its trying to escape!

Just popping on to wish Those who need it lots of baby out vibes!
24/05/2013 at 08:58
Rkb.. Loads of vibes coming your way.. Was the sweep uncomfortable?
Margot... Enjoy an easy day... I'm having one of them too...
Pc... Poor you with the sciatica... Me and h still aren't 100% agreed on names so I wouldn't worry too much at this stage!
Hey rusty.. Let us know how hospital goes
Tt...poor you.. Everything feels worse away from home. Was it like tightening that you felt?
Afm... Reflexology yesterday.. Felt lovely but no movement.. Got some food shopping and stuff done too so I had a really busy day.. Today I'm going to be lazy and have a home day.. Might do some baking! Vibes much appreciated.. I want baby out this weekend!

Baby out vibes RKB, sounds like things are starting to happen!! Hopefully have baby here by the end of the weekend!
Margot, sounds like a relaxing day is needed. Don't think I could ever consider four, at some points I've thought that a 2nd could finish me off haha! No idea how people manage through pregnancy with other children - I've been very selfish throughout!
PC, sorry you're having a tough time. Maybe 'decide' on a girls name, the one you H loves, for a week or so and just mull it over. You've got lots of time to revisit. We chose our name with our heads rather than hearts, but now I've gotten used to it I'm starting to love it more and feel like it's definitely this baby's name.
Rusty, hope the hospital are running on time! What a nightmare wait. Have you got snacks and drinks to get you through? Hope the scan goes well too
TT, sorry you're feeling blue. Stop googling!!! It never helps! Not sure about BH as I don't think I've had any. Best bet is to ask a mw though. Try and get some rest, maybe it's just exhaustion and stress?
AFM - Baby has been quiet recently... kicks and punches seem to have made way to just general rolling movements, they're bigger but more subtle. Does that make sense to anyone?!? I'm wondering if it's about position and size as they've been getting less punchy for a few weeks. Today at work I'm going to a 'relaxation and rejuvenation' session! My work seems to be into 'health & wellbeing' at the moment. Here's betting I fall asleep!
24/05/2013 at 09:21
Baby out vibes Bexy!!!
MrsC, sorry you got a bad nights sleep. Sometimes there's just nothing that can help. Hopefully tonight will be better
24/05/2013 at 09:44
RKB hoping today's the day!
Margot I don't blame you for not going to meeting. Hope the weathers good in Devon
Porkchop there's nothing you can do about the DIY/sciatica situation but rest, your growing a baby so more than doing your fair share. You've still got 9 weeks on the name front
Rusty hope hospital apt goes well
Twinkletoes sorry your having a miserable time, I am no help on the Brixton hicks situation I'm afraid
Bexy hope baby makes an appearance soon!
Mrs Clarke enjoy the play date and hope you have a good weekend
PW I bet you do end up asleep!
Afm not much to report baby has been keeping me awake overnight, very active between 11pm-2am, doesn't bode well...... Would like an afternoon nap but my selfish neighbour has left her dog outside yet again so it will bark constantly all day! End of my tether with her now!
24/05/2013 at 09:57
No news from Lamby? Hope that all is going well for her following induction yesterday
RKB - was hoping not to see you here today (in the nicest possible way of course!) I think that it sounds positive that you have had your show and hopefully things will start happening soon. These babies are very naughty aren't they?! Have you tried MU yet? Promised H that we would this weekend to try and get things moving on the advice of my midwife!
Margot - good thing you didn't go to the meeting last night. I think you are amazing to have done this 3 times, I never realised how much hard work being pregnant is!
PC - you poor thing with the sciatica. Hope that you can find something to ease the pressure, have you get more physio sessions planned? H and I are having similar issues but with boys names
MM - hi lovely! May try some baking myself!
Rusty - hope that all goes well at hopsital. What's the appointments for?
TT - hopefully you will feel better when you get home, being away never helps. I have had some 3rd tri nausea but not as bad as the early stages. Sounds like it could be braxton hicks
Bexy - enjoy your lazy day. Hope that something starts happening for you too ASAP - baby out vibes
MrsC - sorry to hear that you have been sleeping badly. Have a good play date. Hope you through your to do list!
PW - it could be that as baby is running out of room there is less space to kick so movement is restricted to rolls. Enjoy the relaxation session today, sounds fab!
AFM - had a really good nights sleep which I have been lacking for weeks now. H gave me a really painful massage before bed but it seems to have helped! Midwife went well yesterday, baby is 3/5ths engaged and ready to go! I know that baby could stay like this for weeks but am hoping that with some eviction methods I won't be waiting for too long.
Lazy day at home for me - waiting for deliveries and the Virgin man. Need to do some cleaning and all this talk of baking has got me tempted to make (and then eat!) some cakes!
Have a good day all. Baby out vibes to Lamby, RKB and Bexy. Come on babies!!!
24/05/2013 at 10:16
PC - Sorry you're sciatica isn't relenting any. Do you have an exercise ball you can use to try and help with the pain?
Maisie - Thank you lovely! I really hope it's not going to be too much longer! i don't have anything baking stuff in the house to make a cake, although it is my little brothers birthday today, so there might be cake later!!
Rusty - hope all goes well this morning for you!
TT - sorry you're not having a good time in France, but yey to going home tomorrow!! i used to get a strange pain like your describing at the top of my bump too, but my MW said that she reckoned it was just baby pushing on the nerves underneath. Do you have any weird numbness too? i had both numb parts and depending on how i moved, i'd get a sharp pain at the top of my bump.
WH - Thank you! i'm taking all baby out vibes i can get!! hope you and S are well!
Bexy - I found the sweep a little uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as i was expecting it to be. It's like a really rough smear test. The key is to take deep breaths and stay relaxed. It's a very odd sensation, but i just kept telling myself that labour is going to be way worse, so just suck it up! :-). Sorry to hear nothing has happened with the reflexology! Baby out vibes to you! These May babies are sticky aren't they!
MrsC - Thanks for the vibes! Sorry you had a rubbish night! My hips are agony in the morning too!
PW - Thanks lovely! FX baby decides to come out soon! As baby get's bigger, the kicks tend to become more rolling feeling, but rest assured! They will find a way to give you the odd solid boot from time to time too! - Enjoy the relaxation class!
Duckford - Thank you! If it's any consolation, i found my LO used to be really active at night, but they did settle down after a while and are lovely and quiet all night, unless i get up for the loo! Sorry you're not getting any peace. my rabbits like to wait until i'm just about asleep on the couch and they start thumping their feet.
Ferbs - H and I have tried MU a couple of times this week, but i felt pretty violated after my sweep on Wednesday that i'm reluctant to let H near me just now. Glad to hear you had a good sleep last night. Sometimes just that one night can make all the difference! If you decide to bake! make sure you flash your finished products!
