Morning everyone! 10am and no thread, let's get this going again!!
I came back to the thread super late last night, but doubt anyone saw it. Our tentative plan for sleeping arrangements is to wait until baby is born, use the carrycot for a week or so, rent the bednest for the short term period, which will last us until we fly to Toronto for thanksgiving, the when we're back we're most likely going straight to Paris, so I think it'll be a good plan.
Oh, and a brief PSA: Polarn o Pyret currently have all their 0-6month newborn clothing on 3 for 2, and these voucher codes will work alongside them, so I just got £78 worth of stuff for £42. It's really nice stuff.

Oooh, I may have to take a look at Polarn o Pyret then. We've been given lots of newborn stuff already but it would be nice to get some 3-6 month clothing. Your tentative sleeping arrangements sound good to me!
AFM - my photos on Monday have been delayed for a couple of weeks, which is better for me. I swear work are trying to run me into the ground before I go; I seem to have been given a lot of extra work this week and with that and preparing my handover I'm absolutely fed up with the place! They still haven't got my replacement but it's not my problem so I'm not getting involved - only 8 working days left! Nothing to report bump-wise. Midwife was happy on Tuesday and I've now finished my antenatal classes. More bloods being taken in 2 weeks time to check the iron tablets have done their job!

Morning! Haven't ahd a chance to get on the last couple of days sorry!
Wispa - thanks for the codes! I might also have a little look tonight. We have bought one sleepsuit and that is it! I was thinking about going out to get a going home outfit but it's hard to know what to buy when you have no idea how big the baby will be... we have lots of second hand stuff and MIL has bought a lot of 0-3 so we wont need much more. Your sleeping arrangements seem like a good plan. Will the move to France be permanent or a short term thing again? Is it Paris again? You have a much more interesting jet setty life than me!
Ixia - are the photos a bump shoot? I really fancy one of them but they seem a bit expensive so I'm not sure if I will have one. I really want a newborn shoot too but H has a friend with a decent camera who said he would be willing to try and take some professional looking shots so might see how those go? Sorry work is so busy at the moment! They must be starting to panic about you leaving. Still with 8 days left you can only do what you can and then you don;t have to worry.
AFM - had my GTT yesterday but haven't had a phonecall yet so I am assuming my levels were all ok. Bean went through a quieter stage this week but was back to kicking the living daylights out me of yesterday so he either reacted to the glucose or he's turned again. Got my whooping cough jab on Monday and then 28 week appointment on Wednesday so should be able to get an idea of growth then.We are also sorting all of the baby gear as we've chucked it all in the spare room and closed the door but we have a visitor tomorrow night so we need to make sure they can actually reach the bed...
Job wise the tables may be turning AGAIN. There is a rumour that my department will now actually stay but the final decision is being made on the 27th. I have accepted a redeployment in case but everything is back in limbo again which is stressing me out slightly!

Word of warning on POP stuff- it's European sizing, but much bigger than expected. Their 0-1 month is the same as H&M 1-2 month, and their 2-4 month is something like 3-6 month.
Ixia, 8 days left!! That's come up quickly. If work is tough at the minute then the delay in the photos is great. This way you'll have some time to relax and look fresh for the photos :)
Jonesy, the move to Paris is temporary, but could be a year or more, eek. It's really not all that jet-setty, I'm actually pretty worried about being isolated over there. Here's hoping no news is good news with regard to the GTT, but that job situation is ridiculous and frustrating! The 27th can't come soon enough, I'm sure!

Ah well my aunt lives there so if you need someone to chat too at all she's very friendly! Also means we go over a fair bit and will be in France over xmas. Could try and arrange an overseas md meet haha. Ugh I know. I want the next 9 weeks to hurry up so I can get out of there before I go insane. I plan not to return mwahahaha
