Still pregnant. Still crampy. Still fed up with baby being cozy in there.
hope you're all well and SG and WW are feeling more positive today than I am!

Morning Wisps :-)
Shame baby isn't showing signs of making an appearance anytime soon. Fingers crossed something will start happening later. Baby out vibes to SG and WW as well.
I have mw this morning and will cheerfully break Monday's fab news of the disappearing fibroids, and see what she says. Although the consultant is now happy for me to have a home birth if nothing changes in the next 4 weeks, I'm not so sure now simply because I don't think I have enough time to prepare for it all. Anyway, still feeling pretty happy about things. This is helped by sleeping! After weeks of insomnia, I have now worked out that by going to bed at 9, lights out by 10 and no fluids after 7pm I can sleep for 7hrs with only one or 2 loo trips. Consultant has prescribed me zopiclone but I want to try not to take it.
Hi to all who follow, and hope at least one lady has some imminent baby news xx
06/06/2014 at 07:18
Boo to still being pregnant crampy and fed up. Me too. Nuff said really.
Hope we all have babies this afternoon and MD is flooded with birth announcements later. I'm booked for induction a week today, so if nothing happens before then I have 7 days to wait. Which I suppose is manageable, but dammit, I want this baby now! On the plus side, the sun is shining today. Think I'll do some laundry. Rock on!
06/06/2014 at 07:20
Missed you bf, fab news that you're getting the sleep cracked naturally, better than drug induced sleep I'm sure. :-) You've 10 weeks theoretically, so I would have thought that's time to decide and prep for wherever you want to have the baby? Hope the MW goes well.
06/06/2014 at 07:37
Good you seem fairly positive SG, but I hope something happens for you before induction. The reason I say not much time is that I need a final scan at 34 weeks, then final plans will be discussed at my 36 week mw appt. Actually I am caring less and less *where* baby is born, since I feel so happy that I should at least have the choice *how* it is born, which is far more important. We'll see :-)
06/06/2014 at 08:00
Yeah, I can see how 36 weeks would be pushing it a bit to make a final decision! As you say, at least you can go for whatever delivery method you want.
06/06/2014 at 08:24
Just dropping in to send oodles if baby out vibes to SG, Wispa and WW.

Baby OUT vibes to SG, Wispa and WW!!
Wispa - is your Mum here now? Hope baby arrives soon...everything sounded v v positive post sweep :-)
BF - I know what you mean - I think ultimately so long as baby arrives safe and well though it doesn't matter where you give birth. If it's any consolation my mw isn't even discussing home birth til my 31 week appointment and won't finalise anything til 36 week appointment either. I think 36 weeks for birth plan is standard.
SG - Really hope you beat induction lovely. Enjoy the sun and washing....my day will be about as rock n roll!
AFM - Day 2 of potty training. Day 1 100% success rate (we started after nap). Day 2 so far....2/3 in the right place, buy one of those 2 was promptly turned out of potty befire I could get to him and stomped in whilst shouting "puddles" argh!!! This is going to be a long frustrating process!!! Baby wise I had delightful BHs last night. Otherwise all good, and O keeps giving bump cuddles and kisses! ;-)
Happy Friday all...let's hope the weekend brings lots of BAs :-) x
06/06/2014 at 08:51
Haha Coco, had to laugh at "puddles!" :-). Gotta love toddlers!
06/06/2014 at 09:07
Wispa, SG and WW massive baby out vibes to all of you!! Hoping to see BA's piling in this afternoon.
Wispa - sorry you're do fed up love. Do you have any nice plans with your mum today to help distract you?
BF - I have to wait until 36 weeks to make my plan too but home birth has been firmly vetoed by both H and my mother! Spoil sports. Still hoping my appointment in 2 weeks shows I can have a natural birth but the waiting around is infuriating isn't it? I want a plan now! Glad the insomnia's easing.
SG - The weather is gorgeous today no? Laundry is dead rock and roll haha. Did you get much sorting done yesterday?
Imp - hope you're having a lovely time with your mum!! Hope all is well.
Coco - at least he didn't tip over the other kind! Silver lining and all that. Sounds like it's going well though, clever O. I hope this afternoon brings you less puddles though...
AFM - was massively uncomfortable all day yesterday and went to bed early in a huff but I think the sleep helped as I feel much better today. My belly is starting to feel rather full and heay now but there's still 8 weeks left!!! Still lots of squirming and feet in ribs and I think the hormones were in overdrive as I cried 3 times yesterday haha.
Does anyone have any nice weekend plans? Apart from our 3 lovely ladies who will undoubtedly be having newborn cuddles (fingers crossed)

Hi Jonesy, sorry you're feeling uncomfortable. I'm getting to the same stage and feeling that although I don't want to stop work, it's about the right time at 32 weeks seeing as I'm starting to find moving about more of an effort. It's all annual leave though so won't eat into time with baby. Weekend - well we were going to go to the Lakes in the campervan for a weekend walking and rock climbing (yes I know I said moving is getting harder but that's fun not work!), but the weather doesn't look like it will play ball, so I'm not sure. We'll have another look at the forecast when hubby finishes work.
06/06/2014 at 09:24
Imp, *waves* hope you're all good lovely.
Coco, sounds like O is doing pretty well overall. Sorry for chuckling at the puddles. Doesn't he know you need wellies on to jump in puddles? ;-)
Jonesy, glad you're feeling better post sleep, is a wonder what a good night can do. I cried yesterday too, am also blaming hormones, I hope you feel generally better today. In answer to the sorting, no, H was painting the stairs and I couldn't get past, so I did nothing. At all. In my defence I was fairly sore post sweep though.
I've no real exciting plans for the weekend, tomorrow afternoon is a 2yr old's birthday party, and on Sun we've been invited to a 25th wedding anniversary surprise party. I'm hoping to be able to make neither of them, obviously!

Morning all, apologies for my absence over the past few days, wish I could say it was because of baby making an appearance but no, just busy last few days at work and a hectic start to my maternity leave!
Massive baby out vibes to Wispa, SG and WW think we have to have some babies by the end of the week!
BF - Glad you slept better and are more at peace with where you are giving birth, due to the breech issues I have had we only finalisednmy birth plan with the midwife yesterday at 38 weeks!
Imp - hope you are enjoying maternity leave!
Coco - hope potty training goes well, can't help but laugh at O splashing in puddles!
Jonesy - hope you aren't too uncomfortable!
AFM - I have now finished work, feels very odd! Had a busy first day of maternity leave, got my eyes tested, hair highlighted, eyebrows done, visited the birthing centre and did some batch cooking for the freezer! Is very hard to know whether to try and do a lot at the beginning incase baby comes early or to spread it out a little!
Have got a scan this afternoon to check that baby is still in the right position which the midwife says they are :) she did say they may be a little back to back but they seem to move so much I am not too worried about that!
06/06/2014 at 10:17
Hi All - just into work and wanted to update on my appointment - will dopersonals later as have to catch up
BABY HAS TURNED and is in the right position - Yoohoo! And the placents has risen higher!! She could'nt yet sayif a natural birth was a done deal but I'd discuss that in 3 weeks with the doctor in the hospital
06/06/2014 at 10:50
BF - I know what you mean. I will be here until 36+5 but I sit down all day so the only real effort is getting in! I managed to swap what area I look after so I don't have to travel to many meetings now which helps. Sorry to hear the rock climbing might be a wash out.
SG - I think that's fair enough! H thinks I will spend all of mat leave in bed and he's probably right haha. Hope you're feeling better today too.
Vix - Happy mat leave! Batch freezing is a very good plan. I'm hoping to do that but I am also very lazy... Hope the scan goes well and baby is in the right position!
06/06/2014 at 10:52
Sue - oh yay!! Very pleased for you. Also I saw you had written on the wednesday tri thread yesterday about pp's? I think some people have friends on here already just from chatting and/or being previous tri buddies but I just advertised that I wanted one and the lovely Autumn Rose volunteered! Might be worth you starting a thread? Not everyone has one mind so you can do the BA yourself if you so wish.

Wow we are busy this morning!
Wispa, SG and WW - Baby out vibes heading your way!
BF - I bet you feel so much better for getting more sleep!!hope the MW appointment goes well
Coco - ah Potty training, bad enough on a normal day let alone when you are pregnant. It sounds like he is doing ok though, fingers crossed it won't take him too long. Love that O is being so affectionate wtih Bump, Molly does this everyday, this morning when she thought I was asleep she was having a little chat to bump explaining that she will teach them "some naughty things" as well as good!
Jonesy - booo to feeling uncomfortable, glad you are feeling brighter today
Vix - Sounds like a fab start to Maternity leave! fingers crossed for your scan
Sue - good news about baby turning
AFM - Thank crunchy it is Friday!! my maternity cover arrived from our Sydney office on Monday and although we are having an 8 week handover period it has been shockingly busy (we did know hence why we pulled her here earlier) and I have been finding it hard going at this stage so really pleased to have the support. Lots and lots of big movements have been going on in the last few days so I hoping this is a good sign and that baby has changed position, next scan is on the 16th June so we will see then. Sleep wise things are still awful, I am averaging four hours a night but just trying to plod on
Weekend wise tomorrow is a busy one with housework, dancing, shopping and generally doing Mummy/Molly things whilst Lauren revises - cannot believe she finishes school forever in a week!! then sunday we will have a family day in honour of Rob's birthday on Monday, have told him we can do whatever he wants so hoping for a nice day.
06/06/2014 at 12:01
Vix, sounds like a great first day of maternity! Good luck for the scan later, hope it tallies with your mw's findings.
Sue, that's fantastic news :-). I was so happy when I got similar news on Monday so know how you feel. You must be so relieved to know you have a high chance of natural birth.
06/06/2014 at 12:04
Hi Nina, sorry to hear you've had sleep issues as well. Have you discussed them with your mw or consultant? My appt went fine thanks, not really much to say since it's just a waiting game now for the follow up growth scan at the start of July. All else is fine so just ticking along :-)
06/06/2014 at 13:00
The twins and I made it to third tri!
Wispa - Come on Holly Jolly - time to get a wiggle on!
BF - Sorry you weren't sleeping well but glad things have improved.
SG - I'm sending Attila a notification of eviction too!
Imp - Hello lovely!
Coco - Good luck for potty training. Yay for the weekend!
Jonesy - I am also blessed with lots of squirming and feet in ribs. Nice to know they are happy but it is uncomfy and only going to get worse. 8 weeks will fly by though :) Bless you for getting emotional, hope you feel better today.
Vix - Woohoo for finishing work!
Sue - Good news baby has turned and placenta shifted up.
Nina - Crunchie Friday? Crunchie any day more like (well, it should be in my book)! Enjoy it. Rubbish about the poor sleep though :(
AFM: Seems crazy that we are on the home straight already - 10 weeks to go until we have two small humans that are entirely our responsibility! Tomorrow we pick up our new (well, 9 months old, ex demo) car and I'm really excited. Although, quite scared to drive it as we have only had tiny cars (Corsas etc) before this. Eeeeep!
