Very organised! I only have a set of vests and scratch mits! Think I will go a bit crazy with the spending after the 20 weeks scan as we are finding out what we are having.

Hello! I know I've not been around much, but good luck in 2nd tri, Bertie! And CC that outfit is adorable. It's obviously too early for us to buy anything just yet, but it doesn't stop me looking when I'm out.
As for me, I got to Paris yesterday. The hire car I drove from calais to Paris was completely fine until I got to Paris, when I had an emotional breakdown trying to find a place to park near the hertz where I had to drop it off. No one was driving in proper lanes, and I got honked at. Nearly cried, and when I finally parked the car around the corner they asked me to move it and I said I couldn't get back in it!! And then I spilled orangina all over myself on the metro back.
Today has been lovely, though. Explored the neighbourhood and the bois de vincennes with Wispa, found a pet shop to get her new food and water bowls and a kong, too, and now just relaxing in the flat. Not sure I have the energy to do much at the moment other than nap! What is this fatigue?! Might try to navigate the metro with Wispa a bit later and meet Ant at his office.

You're all so brave buying baby stuff already. I am still worried it will all go wrong, and it doesnt help that other than tiredness (usual after a long week at work anyway) I don't have any symptoms. Not that we have anywhere to put baby things. The office/study will be the nursery, but we can't start that until the sitting room is done, and that's still a building site. Plumber was supposed to be here today but the radiators haven't arrived at the wholesaler so he cancelled. The floor is still bare concrete, the new floor is delayed, and the new floor fitter seems to have gone awol! Ho hum!
I did, however, try to cheer myself up this morning (feel a bit sort of meh and can't be bothered to do anything today, and still in PJs now) by ordering some maternity navel bars online. No bump yet of course but I'll need to change my piercing when it grows, so decided to get some pretty things.
No huge plans for the weekend. OH is working in Turkey until this afternoon so will fly back late. We had toyed with the idea of another campervan weekend but I am in such a can't be bothered mood it's not worth it. And the weather is bad today and tomorrow. If it's nice on Sunday we may pop to the Peak District for the day to go climbing, we'll see.
At the moment I'm still desperate for my early scan in 11 days time, just to check it's all OK. On an equal looking-forward to level, next weekend we are finally going to see my best friend and her toddler twins. What with my shifts and her babies, we hardly ever get to meet up (they are about 70 miles away) so it will be great.
Actually that whole week will be great...
19-20th Oct, visiting best friend and her family
21st Oct, start of week off (I get a week off every 5-6 weeks on my rota), FIL staying (still don't want to tell the ILs yet though) so probably dinner out.
22nd Oct, scan day!! And since it's a Tuesday and I'm off work, I can also meet up with my cousin and here 4 month old twins
23rd, lunch with another close friend.
Sorry for rambling, just trying to be positive and cheer myself up. Off for a bath I think, I can't laze about in PJs all day!!

Well done for driving in a foreign country Wispa! I think you did really well, i sometimes feel like having a breakdown driving in Cambridge lol. Glad today is better for you. Are ou there to stay? or is this a short term thing? I *think* I am over the tiredness now. I always found a banana perked me up a bit!

Ahh, I'm Canadian, so I thought driving in Europe would be fine, seeing as I learned to drive on the right side and all. I didn't take into account not having driven on the right in a couple years as well as not having driven a manual transmission in nearly a decade! It was alright in the end, but I'm not doing it again any time soon!
We are in Paris for 3-6 months, depending on Ant's job. I'm sure at some point I will get bored, but for now it's awesome.
I'm definitely looking forward to not being tired all the time. Too bad I'm not a banana fan. Will try other fruits, hopefully the sugars will give me a bit more energy.

Hi everyone, I've been lurking a while and had my early scan today so feel brave enough to pop in and say hello :) hope you don't mind me joining you!
We started TTC after our wedding last year but found it all a bit stressful and decided to let it happen when it happened. We were moving house last month when I started feeling seriously tired and stressed when I realised AF was a week late. Got my BFP the morning after we moved in which was a lovely surprise :)
Had an early scan today and I've been put back from 9+6 to 8+4. It was so amazing to see the little bean though and I can't believe how strong the heartbeat was. Feel like I can get excited now :)

Evening ladies. Sorry I'm so late to the thread again, I've had a very busy day running round after the little one. I think I'm probably too late for oersonals again, but Congratulations and welcome SS, nice to have some more people in 1st tri.
Nothing exciting to report here, I'm still feeling a bit rubbish. H is abandoning me for the weekend to play with his mates down south, so I've just settled onto the sofa for an Australian Masterchef marathon. I'll probably be in bed in an hour though, I'm so hard core right now!
