We're off shopping for school shoes today, can't believe my boy is going to school :(
I'm not feeling v pregnant at the mo but trying to remain upbeat!

MOrning Isis. Goodness, school shoes! HOw exciting/scary!!!
After saying my symptoms had gone yesterday i had waves of very strong sickness all day and the tiredness is back! So i'm quite pleased! It's raining this morning so not much planned today although P and i are going to meet mum for coffee later. I can't decide whether to tell her or not. I told her straight away with P so not sure what's holding me back this time, i think i'm nervous of her reaction for some reason!!
5+1 today and so pleased to have yesterdays little milestone past.
Happy friday everyone.

Morning Isis, school shoe shopping sounds scary but hope you get some sorted. Next scan isn't far away for you is it?
AFM, sorry didn't get on yesterday, I actually read the thread, saw how busy it was by about 9am and thought I'd come back to do personals but didn't get a chance.
The pink discharge has stopped here, thank goodness and scan is a week today. Symptoms still mostly gone but trying to not think about it. Going to meet a friend and her kids this morning, plan was to go to the park but its raining so need to come up with a change of plan. Nothing much else to report just counting the days till next Friday.
Hope everyone else is well, sweetpea hope scan went well and Grif good luck for today x

Sorry missed you AR, yay for 5+1 and symptoms xx

I'm glad the discharged has stopped weekender, that's good news. The rain is a pain isn't it? Makes entertaining a toddler much harder work!!
Isis Im sure everything is fine. You should probably start to feel better now anyway.
AR pleased yesterday passed and you have more symptoms!
WE glad the pink discharge has stopped and not long until the scan now.
Sweetpea hope the scan went well?
Grif good luck for later.
AFM last day of our holiday which Im wishing away as my scans on Monday!! not feeling quite the same about going back to work! oh and 11 weeks today :)
09/08/2013 at 08:55
AR glad the day has passed, I felt similar about 6 weeks after previous mmc. I told my mum the day after, she was delighted but knew we wanted another.
Weekender, glad the discharge has stopped. Scan is Thursday so less than a week! H is away mon-weds so I'm going to be a bit fed up next week I think :(
MrsV, that's what I keep telling myself. To be fair I'm still moody and tired but they seem normal now lol enjoy the last day of your holiday, not long til Monday.

Aw Isis you must be emotional about your wee boy! I don't have many symptoms either - best not to over think it!
AR yay for getting past 5 weeks! Your mum will be a good source of support and I'm sure will be delighted!
WE that's good the spotting has stopped - it's always a worry.
Mrs V you are ticking off the weeks!! Fantastic! Make sure you do something nice to celebrate the last day of your hols!
So we had the most amazing scan yesterday! The baby is 3.5cm and was wriggling and bouncing away! It was all quite emotional and I feel much more connected to being pregnant now. I am still spotting and I suspect I might just be one of these women who does - at least I know the baby is safely wriggling about in there! Thanks for thinking abou me!

The baby is waving a wee paw in the top photo!

Fabulous pictures sweetpea, so glad it went well. That's such lovely picture with the little hand waving. The development between 7/8 weeks and 12 weeks is a stounding and your picture shows the arms and legs forming, so amazing.

Isis - I remember feeling bereft (even though I was working full-time) when my lad went to big school, and weirdly I felt it even harder when he went to secondary! Wonder what I'll be like when he goes to uni, ha ha!
AR - That's great! Glad to hear you're feeling crap - well, you know what I mean, and glad to hear the milestone passed :) Will your mum be upset if you keep it too much longer? That would be a factor for me, my mum does guilt well and I'd feel terrible to have kept the secret.
Weekender - glad it's stopped. Not enjoying the rain though, we have it here and it's pants.
Mrs V - congrats on 11 weeks today. I hate that end-of-holiday-contemplating-work feeling!
Sweetpea!!!! I'm so pleased, that's awesome. And I'm glad you're all emotional and excited. Crikey, they're still so small at that stage, it amazes me :)
AFM, feeling mildly crap, better at not panicking at the pink (which is orangey and surely can't be pregnancy-related). Told another couple last night, they were super-excited! She was my bridesmaid recently and knew how much I wanted to get knocked up ;)
We're really not happy about the no sex thing, although most evenings I'm comatose anyway. I am terrible for using my phone in the night, playing games, surfing the net, and whiling the hours away. But now... I lay down and BAM! I'm asleep. Hubby got up last night, walked round the bed, extracted the phone from my hand (I was snoring) and then turned my lamp off! It's so funny, for me the biggest symptom has been headaches and nausea, but to him, how he can see it is the exhaustion, he thinks it's hilarious because it's so unlike me :)

Great pictures! Woooh!
09/08/2013 at 09:37
COunter i'm so pleased you are feeling more positive. I am exactly the same at night, out like a light and sleep solidly. Unusual for me. Must be to make up for the pregnancy insomnia later on! I remember with P someone would usually start a 3rd tri thread at 4/5am as most of us were awake!!

Isis, Ahh that sweet buying little school shoes. Glad you are trying to remain upbeat. Not long until your scan now.
AR, pleased the symptoms are back and you got through yesterday :)
Weekender, glad all is well. Hope the weather clears up.
Mrs V, yey for 11 weeks. Bet you can’t wait for the scan on Monday.
Sweetpea, fantastic pictures. So glad the scan went well. It’s amazing isn’t it how quickly it starts growing.
Counter, the tiredness really is a killer. Mine is back with a vengeance at the moment.
AFM, I think it’s my last day of first tri today (does it start at 14 weeks?). I’m feeling fine, everybody knows now which has made things so much easier and more enjoyable. Hoping to start enjoying this pregnancy now and trying to worry so much. Easier said than done I think.
Hope you all have a great Friday. x

I'm on my own in our little office today so I'm trying to be productive but I'm so excited/nervous fro the scan later I'm not getting very far. Felt pretty sick this morning but haing constantly grazed on fruit, mints, crackers, jaffa cakes, a chicken sandwich and salt and vinegar crisps (!) I'm feeling fine - oh dear I'll be the size of a house in a couple fo weeks at this rate. Scan is at 4pm so will update when I get home eeek
Isis enjoy shopping - how exciting he's starting school bless him a lovely adventure
AR it's so ridiculous isn't it to be relieved to feel rubbish. have a good day with your Mum and P - I'm sure she'd be thrilled but tell her when you're ready.
Thanks Weekender for your good luck - I'm taking all I can get - glad the discharge has stopped, hopefully this week will fly over for you sending hugs xx
Mrs V sounds like you have had a lovely week - rubbish about back to work but yay for scan day!
SP that scan is amazing!! So glad everything went well and you feel a bit more able to relax and enjoy your pregnancy fabulous news
Counter sorry you're still suffering with the discharge, I hope it gets sorted soon but definitely doesn't sound pregnancy related. I'm a bit the opposite I'm actually quite pleased in one way H is away as I don't have to feel guilty about no sex! I'm pretty tired but not sleeping more than usual but with feeling a bit beurgh I couldn't take the jiggling right now!
LD congratulations moving over the 2nd Tri! We'll miss you but look forward to joining you there soon
NLH so glad the scan went well, I had a nosy at your bump pic it looks fab!
