Yay it's Friday!
I'm feeling quite tired today as the boy had me up in the night but other than that ok, I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms other than getting bigger! We have our gender scan a week tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that :)
A rainy day here so not sure what we'll do.

Hello and happy Friday!
Hope the rain doesn't spoil your days.
Afm, hoping for a quiet one today. Really tired as pootle practices gymnastics at night and felt really teary all day yesterday for no reason, I think it might be pregnancy related but not sure ;-)

He starts on Tuesday ck, excited and petrified in equal measure!
Is your H a special? Happy half way!
The rain sounds awful, I want to hibernate!
Hormones are terrible mrs p plus tiredness doesn't help. Hope you feel better today.

Isis that's so exciting about the gender scan! The place I went to for the early scan wont do one till 18 weeks which is v annoying! Might need to look elsewhere! Do you have any hunches??
CK sounds like a busy weekend! Hope your inlaws give you some time to rest!
Mrs P that must be knackering! It's crazy how the simple things can set a pregnant lady off!
AFM I gained a pound in weight! Woo-hoo! I've been a mini bit concerned at the lack of changes in my body and zero weight gain despite eating for Scotland so I'm delighted to finally put something on! It might be all crisps and bread mind you but ignorance is bliss! Sooooo glad its Friday! Hello to all who follow!

Sweetpea I think it's a girl but I don't know if that's because I want it to be a girl iykwim? As long as its a baby I'm happy :) I haven't put any weight on either even though my belly is huge and I do eat, especially carbs! I can only conclude I've lost muscle :(
06/09/2013 at 09:03
Isis - bet he seems all grown up starting school. Eeek!
CK - happy halfway!
MrsP - always blame the hormones I say :-)
AFM - off to my friends daughters 18th party tonight. Taking toddler so going to be encouraging her to nap this afternoon (she had better otherwise she will be cranky & horrible later!). Well excited. Might even treat myself to small glass of wine (although might get lots of raised eyebrows due to v.obvious bump!)

Managed to miss you there sweetpea - hurrah for tiny bit of weight gain. I was on scales this morning and have only gained a total of 11lbs so far - I'm sure I'd gained at least 2stone, if not 3, in my first pregnancy by this stage (24weeks)
06/09/2013 at 09:46
Are you going to tell us Isis??? Exciting! I recently learnt that the muscle vs fat weight theory is an urban myth! Many women lose weight in the first trimester so perhaps a bit of weight loss plus some baby gain has balanced out!
HF - Hope you have a fabulous time at the party tonight! Don't bother if anyone stares at you for a small glass of wine...it's perfectly allowed. At a wedding recently a heavily pregnant friend was happily announcing how she was looking foward to her weekly treat of a small vino! Or you could put it in a mug :)

hope you are all ok, read through your personals but i'm totally rubbish at writing personals so i just say Hi everyone
happy friday to you all
tummy feeling quite sore today not sure if a slept funny!
06/09/2013 at 10:15
Isis- apart from my growing belly and tiredness, I havent had any symptoms either!
CK- yay for 20 weeks! hopeyou have a nice weekend with the in-laws!!
Mrs p_ sounds like your pregnancy hormones took charge y.day!
sweatpea- seems funny to her someone happy to have put weight on!
HorseFan- have a great night! just pretend its a spritzer!!
had an uninterupted nights sleep! thank you bladder! I have woken up about 6:30 the last few days though which is pants, especially on my days off! But i have been falling asleep on the sofa at about 9:30!
Have a very lazy day planed today, waiting for a delivery then hoping o get to B&Q for the drawer knobs. Have some friend comming for lunch on sunday so need to stock up on food and drink for that. we were going to have a BBQ but weather is looking pants!
H has a local gig tonight so im going along, realy looking forward to it but doubt i'll manage the whole thing, will probably need matchsticks for my eyes :-(
06/09/2013 at 13:27
Isis- How exciting about the gender scan- eeek! I was trying to persuade my H last night we should get one but he said as our 20 week scan is only 2 weeks away we should wait. Boooo.
CK- Congrats on 20 weeks! A nice milestone to reach :-)
SP- Hurrah on putting on the pound! (So weird to be celebrating putting on weight!)
Mrs P- Hope you're okay! Pregnancy hormones have a LOT to answer for. Mine seem to have taken off this last week, nearly started crying in Tesco the other morning because the photo booth broke... had to control myself so I didn't terrify the poor teenage checkout boy!!
Isis-Lucky you about not putting on any weight, doesn't sound like a bad thing! Having said that I lost a few pounds in the first tri but I am pretty sure I've put it back on and then some now!
HF- Enjoy the party and your glass of wine! I had a glass of champagne at my brother's wedding and was taking a sip right as he announced during his speech that I was pregnant! Felt very self-conscious as 100 people looked at the pregnant lady sipping champers!!!
NLH- Hope your tum feels better soon
Mrs B- Hope you enjoy the gig (or what you manage to stay awake for!) and enjoy your lazy day!
AFM work is very busy and tiring me out, not sleeping too well either although have ordered a pregnancy pillow so hope that changes soon (I've basically concluded we need a bigger bed!!) Glad it's friday, not much planned for the weekend, just trying to make a start on packing the flat up as we move 2 weeks tomorrow and I've done literally nothing, oops. I foresee lots of naps and 'resting' in my future this weekend! I felt quite down yesterday about how tired I am still feeling but OH reminded me that all the sleep I usually get is now having to 'power' both me and baby so no wonder I need more. Made me feel a bit better about it and less like I'm just eating/sleeping/working at the moment!

Isis - Not long until you find out! Have you got any idea what you think you are having?
CK - Halfway already!
MP - Hope you manage to get some more rest tonight.
SP - Well done on only putting on 1 pound! I weighed myself after finding a battery for my scales and I've gained 5 pounds already... eekk!
HF - I had a glass of champagne last weekend, figured it wouldn't hurt with a meal.
NLH - Maybe its just a growth spurt? Make sure to put some cream on!
MB - The tiredness is a killer isn't it. I hope you manage to have your BBQ.
AFM - So glad its Friday, really looking forward to a lie in tomorrow. Not much planned for the weekend so hopefully it will be nice and relaxing. Ordered a load of mat clothes from ASOS last night, got 3 tops, a dress and a pair of trousers for £58. Thought that was pretty good. Hopefully I won't need to send any of it back.
06/09/2013 at 13:32
Rose - hope the pregnancy pillow works for you. I'm feeling exactly the same at the moment re tiredness. I guess I'm going to be this tired for a good while now!!!
06/09/2013 at 18:38
Horsefan, hope operation nap has been successful! Enjoy your evening out. It's my birthday in 3 weeks, I'm planning on a glass of wine :)
Sweetpea, of course, I'm no good at surprises lol I am bigger though so not sure how I haven't put weight on!
Nlh, hope you're feeling better and get a relaxing weekend x
Rose, it'll be another 4 weeks til our 20w scan so feels good to break up the wait. We have a huge bed but I'd rather have it myself lol I've been tired too, it is hard on your body.
MrsV, I think girl but no idea. Enjoy relaxing and nice haul! I have to stop buying stuff though I do need a cardi and coat.
