We have 8 weeks to go and although we are totally set on our boys name, we are completely going round in circles with girls! We usually like traditional, classic names.
The options we have are;
Isla (my favourite but we have concerns over whether it is traditional enough-we like classic names and whether people will misspell and mispronounce) With Elizabeth for a middle name.
Isabella ( H's favourite. It is his Gran's name. I like the shortening of Bella, but H is not sure about that) With Ruby or Alice for a middle name.
Alice (With Isabella as a middle name)
Daisy (With Alice for a middle name)
The problem we have is that both of us have a favourite and that neither of us love the other's! Alice and Daisy are more of a compromise and everytime we settle on one of them, one of us decides a few days later that it doesn't feel right
Are we just destined to have a name we don't love? Anyone have any opinions?

I have an Isla so would obviously pick that. Although it is pretty popular now if that bothers you at all? I don't think it will be mispronounced or misspelt. I wouldn't say it was a typical traditional name though.
I'm not keen on Isabella or Bella tbh
I like Alice and daisy. I'm just bout be godmother to a daisy and we had Alice on our shortlist this time around.

I think that fits with you choices.
If I had to choose from your choices I'd pick Alice.

I like Alice best from your list. My daughter was nearly an Emily which would fit your criteria as well.

i also really love alice
like the idea of eliza too!

I love Isla but H didn't like it at all and now I've heard so many I don't think I'd use it next time if we had a girl. Daisy was another of my favourites that we couldn't use due to our surname, it's in safekeeping for if we ever have a girl doggy as Dexter was my fave boys name before I married H and its our dogs name now!
Alice is lovely, classic and timeless, my Great Grandma was Alice so my cousin used it. We really struggled with girls names too, it's really difficult.

If F had been a girl he would have been Lila which sounds like Isla but is more traditional.
I love Eliza and Isabella as well but always worry about the Twilight connection.
Not sure of Daisy for a grown up iykwim. Reminds me of the episode of friends with the girl called Precious.

We have a Rose.have you considered that?

Alice is a lovely, classic name that's not been overused. We have an Alex which is too similar sounding to Alice otherwise Alice would have been high on our list.
Names I think are of a similar type you may like to consider;

Isla is lovely but does seem to be getting more popular, We have an Ivy which obviously be love. Others we like

Thanks everyone! I think we have narrowed it down to Alice or Daisy as one of us is unsure of the other two. Ivy is lovely Banzy and would have been high on our list, had H's cousin not had a baby Ivy this year! Gaaahh!!

I have a Holly and a Rosa which would both fit your criteria...
I prefer Alice of your two final options I think. Perhaps Alicia might also be an option to consider (bit of a mix of Alice and Isabella!)

I like Alice much better than Daisy. Lovely name!

I was going to suggest rosa SL, my BIL has just had a Rosa Grace. Alys is on my list for any potential second girl.
