Warning, long winded jerry springer type of story. :P
Here's the deal, I was with my ex-partner for five years, never used protection or had any pregnancy scares. He was kind of a nervous guy and always pulled out well before anything happened.
We found out i was pregnant in January. My due date was estimated by ultrasounds at 12 and 20 weeks because I couldn't remember the date of my last period. My mother thinks I had a period in dec, she says around dec 7, I honestly just can't remember. So the doctors office told me sep 7 and sep 11 at different points for my due date.
According to a reverse calender that means I had intercourse sometime between dec 8 and dec 18.
Ex-boyfriend and I hit a rocky stage between october and january where we were broken up, but were still intimate during that time. I started casually seeing guy number two.
Guy number two was in town between nov 28-dec 1. He was then out of town again until at least dec. 21, so those are the only possible dates I could have concieved with him. Ex-boyfriend I was definetely with between dec 8 and 18, we were together quite often. So, that means ex-boyfriend is the father? Or is it uncertain?
Obviously there will be paternity tests, but guy number two has been making life miserable for me and threatening to sue me for full custody, which is why I'm rather freaked at the moment and wish I had a more definitive awnser to ease my mind over the next few months. I know baby is not enjoying my stress level. We can't do any prenatal tests, because guy number two is away on business for several months, and my ex has been completely ignoring me since we found out about the pregnancy.
I'm having a hard time trusting the dates, having been with my ex for so long and never having a problem, and guy number two was never at all careful. It seems so coincidental and unlikely that super careful ex and I concieved during this time period I happened to be with another guy.
So my question is, how accurate would you say the estimated dates are? Did I have sex with these guys too close together to really know which is the dad without a paternity test?

Ouch, what a pickle!
It really could just be a coincidence that you fell pregnant with Mr careful around the same time you were sleeping with Mr Other Guy.
In my personal opinion, I think it's more likely your partner, but until you get the DNA test, there's reallt no way to tell.
Please please please try not to stress over it. Because at the end of the day, we know one is for sure.. that baby is YOURS.
Praying it all works out for you!
Try to stay calm.
