Hi everyone,We wanted to share this incredible photo with you that’s had the internet buzzing by photographer Helen Carmina. As you can see, it’s of a 3 day old baby, resting just below his mum’s C-section scar. So this got us thinking, have you had a C-section? If so, how do you feel about your scar? And was it a planned cesarean or an emergency? How do you feel about having had a C-section now? Would you opt to have an elective C-section if you fell pregnant again? Please do share your thoughts, we’d love to hear them.

Mine was planned due to footling breech. My scar is very neat and doesn't bother me, what I hate and what makes me embarrassed to get my tummy out is the bulge above my scar where the scar tissue and haematoma beneath my scar has formed and left s horrible looking shelf that no amount of exercise or diet can get rid of x

Go to your doctors I had a horrible apron left after my 4th c-section I had a tummy tuck on the NHS I had to wait 15mths but it was well worth it......& now I'm planning my 5 c-section but after all these years I'm comfortable in my skin at last.....

First baby was an emergency c section 12 years ago. I also lost an ovary and Fallopian tube at the same time as they found a large teratoma cyst that went unnoticed!! That is why my son couldn't get into the birth canal!! Still all went brilliantly, very calm experience and my scar is thinner than a pencil line. Nobody would know it's there, very neat:) I had no pain with it and cracked on as normal after 2 weeks, drove after 3 weeks.
