I went for a dentist check-up for the 1st time in about 3 years yesterday because I was having pain in the back of my mouth. To make a long story short: I have to have to have one back tooth (both on the right & left side of my mouth pulled)
I am so nervous for one, have never had a tooth pulled, and I was reading on line that typically when they have to pull more than one tooth they put you to sleep (I don't know how true that is) but I don't think they can put you to sleep when you're pregnant and I don't know how bad the pain will be afterword's or how hard that'll be to cope with.
anyone else had this done while pregnant?

Yes and I wasn't put to sleep, they just inject something in your gum to make your mouth numb and remove it with these two little tools,it weared off a bit towards the end and it hurt the tiniest bit, you're not allowed to eat for about 3-4 hours after the procedure, that was hard to do,missing out on lunch lol, good luck at dentist xx

thank you for your reply! I know the numb shot they give you is a little painful, it always makes my eyes water I've jus never had a tooth pulled and getting 2 done at once scares me to death! So much that I had a dream or more like a nightmare about it last night I hope I'm being a baby about this for nothing lol my appointment is next week, thanks for the good luck wishes, I'm sure i'll need it!
