first day regular bleeding( like a period) seconds day it slowed down, today almost stopped but found a jelly like thing on my pad, looked like mucus and mum said so too.
im only spotting slightly now, the doctor and midwife didnt seem concerned and said bleeding is common at 5 weeks, have to wait till 2nd may to find out and been told not to take a pregnancy test.
Can anyone share there miscarrage storys??? thanks xxx

Like bluextarx says, I would contact your local EPU, as far as I know you dont have to get a referal from your Dr for this, i didnt, just called them direct - you need peace of mind just now, not a waiting game! The bleeding you describe could be an inplantation bleed, I had this with my 1st and it sounds very similar. Keeping my fingers crossed for yu.

after reading your posts i read up in my pregnanacy books! found out that most bleeding isnt always a miscarriage so thats somethingpositive to think off! i too agree with blue star like i said before its bang out of order that you have to wait ages to find out! that shouldnt be the case! good luck! xx

how bad was your bleeding, and did u have any clots?? its a 5 hour wait at my a&e. unless youre dying you have a looong wait.
what did your bleeding turn out to b??
i dont even dare have intercourse with my partner atm its silly lol

also why doc didnt send me to epu is because the baby would be too small to see st 5 weeks

when i had my miscarriage i started off in a lot of pain then got blood in small amouts and then all of a sudden it would just Gush out and i mean gush out... i never got any clots though.. just fresh blood... but by gush it would happen even wakign up in the morning and lieing in bed with my partner i would feel what it felt like was as if i was peeing myself but it was blood like pouring out of me.. i was petrified... it continued pouring out for a good 4 minutes odd.. then the blood dissapeared but after sex it would come back for a week or two and thats what my miscarriage was like. it started off with pain and when i was told my hcg was going down for sure, i started bleeding really really hevily not just a normal period... like insane amounts of blood.. everyone that has a miscarriage experiences different things i think but that was my experience. its quite good that it wasnt as heavy as that for you i would say! so that must be a good sign! hope this helped you xx

Mine was like the start of af but I didn't have any clots. The gynae and the sonographer couldn't find a source of the bleed so they said it was most likely to be implantation, where the placenta is burrowing into the lining. I did end up waiting at a&e for 7 hours as the gynae got called to 2 emergency c-sections. If that hadn't happened I would have been seen within an hour! It was worth the wait though for the peace of mind.
annonymousxx sorry to read of your miscarraige hun, what an awful experience to go through

part of me is saying its going to be fine, the other parts telling me ive lost it.
my boobs have stopped been tender which isnt helping, but i still feel really tired. woke up today at 10, had breakfast and went straight back to bed and slept for another 5 hours lol and still didnt want to get up. bleeding didnt really last long so hoping it will be alright, my fiance keeps saying it will be ok, hes asked alot of peoples advise and many had bleeding early on.
this is my first baby and i so want it to be ok, seems so unfair to lose my first one. all my friends fell pregnant by accident when they where 16/17 and are on there 2nd even 3rd babys. im 24 now.
i can feel myself getting green eye syndrome, im not usualy a jelous person oh dear
